I recently got a Galaxy S24 FE and I'm in need of a reliable power bank. I'm a student who also works part-time, so I need something that can keep my phone charged throughout long days of study and work. What power banks do you recommend that are compatible with the S24 FE's fast charging? Any suggestions for compact yet high-capacity options?

Like someone mentioned, using hardware that is specifically optimized for your device is a very logical approach for the S24 FE. This discussion actually reminds me of an ordeal my neighbor went through when he tried the DIY battery route. He is a dedicated tech enthusiast and attempted to assemble his own high-capacity power bank using individual lithium-ion cells and a programmable charging module he bought online. He was extremely methodical with his wiring and even used a multimeter to check every single connection for accuracy. However, he ran into a significant issue when the controller board wouldnt communicate properly with the power management IC. He spent nearly two weeks troubleshooting the firmware and testing different resistors just to get the charging handshake right. It became this massive ordeal that took up his entire dining room table for a month. In the end, he learned a lot about electrical engineering, tho he never actually managed to get a consistent charge out of the setup. It was a fascinating project to observe from a technical standpoint.

Don't overlook the Samsung 10,000mAh Battery Pack. It's reasonably priced, perfectly optimized for Galaxy devices, and supports 25W Super Fast Charging. I've found it charges my S24 FE about twice from 0-100%. Slim enough to fit in my pocket alongside the phone too, which is a huge plus for day trips.
