Z Fold7 needs power! What's a good power bank recommendation? Looking to spend under $50.

I totally agree about the safety aspect. When you spend that much on a phone, saving $10 on a generic brick realy isn't worth the risk of a short circuit... I’ve been looking into the specs lately, and since the Fold supports "Super Fast Charging," you want something that has PPS (Programmable Power Supply) tech. I'm still figuring out all the technical stuff, but basically, that helps it charge way more efficiently without getting too hot. Here are a couple that fit under that $50 budget: * Anker 533 Power Bank (PowerCore 30W) - This one is cool because it has a tiny screen that shows the battery percentage and how much time is left. Usually around $40-$45.
* Samsung 25W 10,000 mAh Battery Pack (EB-P3400) - Tbh, you can't go wrong with the official one. It’s super slim and fits in a pocket easily. It's usually $35 on sale. Quick question though, do you think 10,000 mAh is enough? The Fold has a pretty big screen, so maybe a larger capacity would be better, or would it be too heavy to carry around?

Just jumping in here. I've been comparing a few brands lately because the power bank market is getting pretty crowded. Honestly, while Anker is the safe bet, Baseus and Ugreen have been crushing it in terms of value for money. If you want to dive deeper into the technical data, check out the power bank comparison charts on the r/UsbCHardware subreddit or sites like RTINGS to see actual efficiency tests. Idk if you need massive capacity or something portable, but here are a couple of solid alternatives that usually go for under 50 dollars:

  • Baseus Adaman 65W 20000mAh
  • It has a metal casing and usually sits right around forty bucks.
  • UGREEN Nexode 10000mAh Power Bank
  • Really compact and supports the fast charging protocols.
  • Samsung 25W 10000mAh Battery Pack
  • Sometimes it is better to just stick with the official brand for total compatibility. Basically, just look for something that lists high output wattage. The market is shifting fast so prices change all the time. (at least thats what I have noticed)

Before grabbing just any power bank, think safety, especially with expensive phones. Cheap ones can fry your battery! Anker's usually a decent option, but read reviews carefully about overcharging protection. Better safe than sorry, even if it means spending a little more initially.
