Which one should I grab for my S26 Plus, the official Samsung 45W brick or the Anker 713 Nano II?
I'm moving to Austin next week and realized my old S10 plug is way too slow. The Samsung one is $50 but the Anker is way smaller for my bag... is the official one actually better?
TL;DR: Get the Anker. In my experience, the Anker 713 Nano II 45W GaN is just as fast as the official one since it supports PPS. Over the years I've found the official Samsung 45W Power Adapter way too bulky for a travel bag. Anker usually costs around $30-40 and works perfectly for those 45W speeds. Let me know if you need cable recs too!
Building on the earlier suggestion, I would suggest checking out the UGREEN Nexode 45W Dual USB-C GaN Charger. It is often cheaper and has two ports which is a lifesaver for travel. Just a heads up tho, be careful about the cable. You gotta make sure to use a 5A cable like the Anker 543 USB-C to USB-C Cable 140W or you might be stuck at slow speeds regardless of the brick.
