Hey everyone! I just finally pulled the trigger and picked up the new Samsung Galaxy S24 FE in that gorgeous Blue color. I’m absolutely loving the phone so far, but I quickly realized a bit of a dilemma—it doesn't come with a charging brick in the box anymore! My old charger is from an ancient phone and it's a slow USB-A type, so it takes forever to get this thing from 0 to 100%.
I’ve been doing a bit of reading, and I know the S24 FE supports up to 25W wired charging, but honestly, the market is flooded with so many options that I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. I really want to make sure I’m getting something that’s actually 'fast' and won't just trickle charge the battery. I’m a bit worried about buying a cheap knock-off that might overheat the phone or degrade the battery health over time, especially since I plan on keeping this phone for a few years.
I’m looking for something reliable that supports the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) standard because I heard that’s crucial for Samsung’s Super Fast Charging to actually work. I’d prefer something relatively compact for travel, and if it has an extra port for my Galaxy Buds, that would be a huge plus! My budget is around $30–$40, but I'm willing to pay a little more for a brand that’s known for high quality.
Has anyone here found a specific wall plug or a particular Anker/Ugreen model that works perfectly with the S24 FE? I’m curious if it’s worth just sticking with the official Samsung 25W brick, or if there are third-party options that offer better value or more ports. What are you guys using to keep your FE topped up quickly without any issues?

Seconding the recommendation above—PPS is honestly a MUST to keep the phone from getting way too hot. I'm super cautious about battery health, so I'd stay away from no-name brands.
Check these out:
- Ugreen Nexode 45W Dual USB C Charger - Great for charging your FE and Buds at once.
- Samsung 35W Power Adapter Duo TA220 - Super reliable and handles PPS perfectly.

Quick question—are you looking to charge a laptop with this too, or just the phone and buds? It makes a big difference in what wattage you actually need. Basically, for the S24 FE to hit that "Super Fast Charging" status, you need a brick that supports the PPS protocol at 3.3V-11V/2.25A. If the charger doesnt have those specific PPS steps, it'll just default to standard 15W fast charging, which is kinda slow tbh. Let me know your port needs and I'll drop some solid technical picks!

yo, congrats on the S24 FE! that Blue color is honestly stunning. Here's what I recommend: i've been through a few chargers with my Samsung gear and tbh it can be sooo frustrating when "fast charging" isnt actually fast.
I really wanted to love the Samsung 25W USB-C Wall Charger, and while it's reliable, it only has one port which is kinda annoying when you travel. I actually had some issues with cheap random bricks from Amazon overheating, so definitely stay away from those... they literally feel like they're gonna melt.
If you want that extra port for your Buds, I HIGHLY recommend the Anker 735 Charger GaNPrime 65W. It's a bit overkill on the wattage, but it supports PPS perfectly so your FE will hit that max 25W speed no problem. Plus, it's super compact. If thats too pricey, the UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port GaN Fast Charger is another solid pick. I use it daily and it's never let me down, plus it fits ur budget better usually.
Basically, as long as it says "PPS" and "GaN", you're golden. Just make sure you're using a decent cable too, like the Anker 543 USB-C to USB-C Cable Bio-Braided because a crappy cable will bottleneck everything even with a good brick. but yeah, sticking with Anker or Ugreen is way better than the official one imo cuz you get more ports for the money. gl! 👍

Just found this thread and honestly, I’ve been trying to DIY my own "perfect" charging station for my desk lately. I’m still pretty new to understanding how all these volts and amps work together, but I actually bought a little USB-C power meter to test my bricks. It’s SO cool to see the numbers jump around! I’ve noticed that even if a charger says it's fast, sometimes it doesn't quite hit the mark if the PPS handshake isn't perfect. Here are a few options I’ve been looking at that seem to have the right specs for ur S24 FE:
- Anker 523 Charger (Nano 3, 47W): This one is really tiny and has dual ports. It’s basically great for travel since it handles two devices easily and fits ur budget. - Baseus 65W GaN5 Pro: I like this because it has multiple ports and supports the 3.3V-11V PPS range that people were talking about earlier. Tbh, I’m still figuring out if the cable that comes in the box is high-quality enough for long-term use. Does anyone know if using a 100W rated cable actually helps with heat management, or is that just overkill for a 25W phone? I just want to make sure I don't ACCIDENTALLY hurt the battery health!

I was so worried about battery health that I bought a little tester too. Its honestly super satisfying seeing that Super Fast Charging message pop up and actually seeing the numbers back it up on the screen. One thing I learned the hard way though... dont forget about the cable. I spent a while troubleshooting a brick that I thought was broken, but it was just a cheap cable that couldnt handle the PPS. Once I used a high-quality one, everything was perfect. No complaints here now that I know exactly whats going into my phone.
