I just pre-ordered the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and need a reliable wall plug since it's not in the box. I'm looking for a compact PPS charger that actually hits the 25W max speed without overheating. Do you recommend the official Samsung brick or a third-party option like Anker? What’s your favorite travel-friendly charger for this phone?

Ok so, i feel u on the no-brick-in-the-box thing, it's lowkey annoying. I've been using Samsung foldables for years and honestly, the charger choice actually matters for heat management. Here's what I recommend based on my experience: 1. The Samsung 25W USB-C Wall Charger (EP-TA800) is the standard choice. It's realy reliable and you know it's gonna work perfectly with the Flip's PPS requirements without any weird compatibility issues.
2. My personal fav for travel tho is the Anker 711 Charger (Nano II 30W). It's basically half the size of the Samsung one and it doesnt overheat even when fast charging. 3. Also, check out the Anker 511 Charger (Nano 3) 30W because it has foldable prongs which is sooo much better for tossing in a pocket. Basically, the official one is great, but Anker is highkey better for travel. gl with the new phone!! 👍

Sooo, i been through so many of these over the years, and honestly, the charger tech actually makes a massive difference for foldables... > I'm looking for a compact PPS charger that actually hits the 25W max speed without overheating. The Flip 6 is pretty sensitive to heat cuz of the design, right? You basically NEED a brick with PPS (Programmable Power Supply). It lets ur phone talk to the charger to adjust voltage dynamically, which is HUGE for keeping things cool. Since the conversion happens in the brick, the phone stays way chillier. I highkey recommend the UGREEN Nexode Pro 30W GaN Fast Charger. It uses GaN tech, which is basically more efficient and way smaller than the old silicon stuff. It hits that 25W ceiling EASILY. Another decent option is the Spigen ArcStation Pro 27W GaN Wall Charger. Both are tiny enough to toss in a pocket tho. Just make sure the specs mention PPS or itll just slow charge at 15W. Good luck!!

Yo! Seriously, congrats on the pre-order!! I've been rocking Samsung foldables for years, and honestly, your charger choice is highkey important. Since the Flip 6 has that split battery, you really wanna prioritize safety and heat management to avoid issues down the road. For your situation, I recommend:
1. Belkin BoostCharge Pro 30W USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS - My top pick for reliability. It’s incredibly stable and stays cool during peak 25W charging.
2. Satechi 30W USB-C GaN Compact Wall Charger - Fantastic for travel cuz it’s tiny but built like a tank. Basically, PPS is the secret sauce. It lets the phone talk to the brick to adjust voltage in real-time, which *actually* prevents that overheating you're worried about. I've seen cheap chargers cook batteries over time, so going with a pro-grade GaN charger is a total game changer tho. Enjoy the new phone! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above. Heat is *huge* for these flips. i've used Samsung foldables for years and honestly, the UGREEN Nexode 30W USB C GaN Charger is my go-to budget pick. It's cheaper than official bricks and stays cool. If you want something even tinier for travel, the Baseus 30W GaN5 Fast Wall Charger works great too. Both hit that 25W cap no problem! gl
