What is the actual best fast charger for the S26 Plus because I'm seriously losing my mind trying to find a straight answer. Just upgraded and realized it doesnt even come with a brick anymore which is just lovely. I looked online and saw everyone recommending the official 45W Samsung one but then a bunch of reviews for the Anker 313 say it does the exact same thing for way less money.
I'm traveling to London in two days and I need something reliable that wont fry my battery. My budget is like 40 bucks max. Does the Anker actually hit the Super Fast Charging 2.0 speeds or am I gonna be stuck at a snail pace if I dont buy the official one?...
I would suggest checking out the UGREEN Nexode 45W Dual USB C GaN Fast Charger if you want to stay under budget. It's usually way cheaper than the Samsung one and works great. Just a heads up tho, make sure your cable is rated for 5A or you might not hit those top speeds. Be careful with cheap generic cords, they'll just slow you down. Have a safe trip!
Been thinking about your situation for a few hours. Finding a straight answer is honestly a nightmare because of how Samsung handles their proprietary charging tech. IIRC, for Super Fast Charging 2.0 to actually trigger, the charger needs to support a specific PPS (Programmable Power Supply) range. I think it's somewhere around 4.05A at 11V, but I'm not 100% sure on the exact numbers for the S26 series specifically. The thing is, even if a brick says 45W, it doesn't mean it'll hit those max speeds on a Galaxy. Some chargers are built for iPhones+or+laptops+and+the&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">iPhones or laptops and they don't have the right handshake to tell the phone to pull full power. It's frustrating for sure. Before I can really point you in the right direction though, I gotta ask... what cable are you using? People usually forget that the cable is just as important as the brick. You basically need a 5A rated cable to get past 25W. If you're just using a standard one, you're likely gonna be capped at a lower speed regardless of how beefy the brick is. Are you planning to buy a new cable too or just the plug? Also, since you're heading to London, are you looking for something with a UK plug natively or just a US one you can use with an adapter? That info would help narrow down what fits in your budget.
