Tbh if youre looking at other brands, the trade-in value for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 512GB Unlocked is usually way better than what Google offers for the Google Pixel 8 Pro 128GB. I switched from a Pixel and Ive been really happy with the Samsung ecosystem, it just works well together. Actually, the screen on this thing is so crisp Ive been using it to rewatch old sci-fi movies in bed instead of my tablet. Spent the whole weekend binging The Expanse and forgot to even check the news lol. The anti-reflective coating is a total game changer too, dont even see my own face when the screen goes dark. It almost makes me want to get one for my wife but she's still clinging to her old phone for some reason. Anyway, keep an eye on Swappa if you dont mind slightly used, but yeah.

Like someone mentioned, that 300 discount is solid, but I usually stick to the official Samsung store or Best Buy Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Unlocked for the reliability factor. If you buy direct, the trade-in process for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB is way more straightforward and you dont have to worry about third-party sellers on other sites. You can often stack an education or workplace discount on top if you have a .edu email. Carriers like AT&T have huge credits right now too, but I'm not a fan of the 36-month lock-in period. For a device this expensive, I'd rather have the peace of mind that comes with buying from a major retailer...

Currently $300 off at Amazon. Don't know if this is a good deal.
