I just picked up the Samsung Galaxy A55 and want to keep it protected without overspending. I'm specifically looking for a durable tempered glass screen protector and a slim clear case. Also, since it doesn't include one, what’s a reliable but cheap 25W wall charger? Any specific brands you’d recommend that offer great value?

Here's what I recommend:
1. Spigen Liquid Crystal Case for Samsung Galaxy A55
2. JETech Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy A55
3. Anker 312 Charger 25W
Basically the best value combo lol!!

- amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy A55
- ESR Classic Series Clear Case for Samsung Galaxy A55
- Baseus 25W Super Si USB C Wall Charger Quick question - do you need max drop protection or just something super slim? I'm realy satisfied with these budget picks, but let me know cuz there are bulkier options too!! I'm kinda new to the A55 but this setup works well and I've had zero complaints. gl!

Quick question - before I give advice, are you mostly charging at home or do you need something compact for travel? I'm asking cuz I've had some really bad issues with those "ultra-cheap" 25W chargers before. One actually started smoking while I was asleep... it was terrifying and basically ruined my trust in no-name brands. Safety is literally everything!! Anyway, my quick tip is to only buy chargers with PPS support so they don't fry your A55. I'd probably suggest the Samsung 25W USB-C Wall Charger (EP-TA800) and maybe the Spigen Ultra Hybrid for Samsung Galaxy A55 if you want a clear case that won't yellow as fast as the thinner ones. Lesson learned: don't risk a $400 phone on a $5 charger! Let me know your travel needs tho so I can be more specific! gl

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, the previous suggestions are solid, but I've gotta jump in because I love accessorizing new tech. Basically, screen protection is a total must-have cuz Samsung repairs are getting pricy these days. If you want alternatives, just go with Ringke or Caseology for the case. I've used their slim clear ones for years and they're seriously amazing at resisting that gross yellow tint! For the charger, it's actually all about PPS technology. You need that to hit the full 25W speed. Just get any PD charger from Ugreen or Baseus and you'll be set. They're super reliable and way cheaper than the official bricks. Also, I usually just grab any multi-pack from ESR for the screen. Their install kits are literally foolproof. Enjoy the A55, it's a fantastic phone!! 👍

Honestly just caught up with this thread and I have been using the A series for ages. Since youre looking at the long-term, I had a couple of quick questions to see what fits u best:

  • Do u usually keep ur phone in a pocket with keys or a bag with other stuff?
  • Are u planning on using the phone while it is actually plugged in or just charging it overnight? I am asking because after using budget accessories for years, I have noticed that the clear cases always, and I mean always, start to look a bit yellow after 6 or 7 months regardless of what the brand says... it is just the way that TPU reacts to skin oils and sunlight tbh. It is sooooo annoying when a clear case starts looking like tea. Also, if u charge while gaming or watching videos, some of those budget 25W bricks get reallyyy hot, which isnt great for the battery health over 2 years. I have found it is sometimes better to buy two super cheap cases and just swap them out when the first one gets gross rather than spending 30 dollars on one that will still yellow anyway. Keeps the phone looking basically brand new for way longer without breaking the bank.
