Does anyone know what the absolute fastest wireless charger is for the new Galaxy S26 because I am seeing so much conflicting info online about the Qi2 support. I just preordered the S26 Ultra and I really dont want to be stuck using my old slow charger from like four years ago especially with how big this battery is supposed to be.
Im currently torn between three different options and I need to make a decision by tomorrow so I can get it delivered before I head out on a work trip this weekend. First is the official Samsung 15W Fast Wireless Charger Duo. It seems like the safest bet but I've heard the cooling fans in those can be kinda loud when you're trying to sleep and my nightstand is basically right next to my head. Then there is the Anker MagGo Qi2 station which looks way nicer and I love the magnetic alignment but I cant find a straight answer on whether Samsung actually allows the full 15W speed through third-party Qi2 chargers or if they throttle it down to like 7.5W unless you use their branded stuff.
The third one I was looking at is the Belkin BoostCharge Pro but its honestly a bit bulky for my setup. My apartment is tiny and I dont have much room on my desk or my nightstand so I need something with a small footprint. I mostly care about:
My budget is around $60-70 max since I already spent way too much on the phone itself lol. Does anyone have experience with these specifically on the S26? I mainly just want to make sure I'm not wasting money on a fast charger that still takes three hours to get to 100 percent. I also use a slightly thicker Spigen case so if one of these is better at punching through the plastic without overheating that would be good to know too. Leaning towards the Anker but the speed thing is holding me back...
Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that Samsung still limits most third-party gear. I bought that Anker MagGo Wireless Charger 15W Qi2 hoping for the best, but it was not as good as expected and definitely didnt hit top speeds.
Yo! I am so hyped for you getting the S26 Ultra! It is such an amazing piece of tech and you are gonna love that screen. Quick question before I give you my full thoughts though... which Spigen case are you rocking specifically? Some of the ones with the built-in kickstands or the extra thick TPU layers can really mess with the induction coils if they arent lined up perfectly, so that might change my recommendation. Quick tip while I have a sec: honestly the wall brick you use matters just as much as the pad itself! If you want to save some cash and space, look at the ESR Qi2 Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W. It is super compact and stays way cooler than those bulky pads. Just make sure you pair it with a solid plug like the Anker 511 Charger Nano 3 30W USB-C to ensure it is getting the max input. I love mine because it barely takes up any room on my tiny desk!
