I just pulled the trigger and pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in Titanium Gray, and I am beyond excited! This is my first major upgrade in about three years—moving up from an S21 Ultra—so I know the tech and the form factor have changed quite a bit since then. Since this phone is such a massive investment, I really want to make sure I’m fully prepared with the right gear from day one to keep it pristine.
I’ve been scouring YouTube and various tech blogs, but the sheer volume of options for cases, screen protectors, and chargers is honestly a bit overwhelming. I’m particularly curious about the screen protector situation. I’ve heard the S25 Ultra has that amazing anti-reflective display, and I’m terrified of slapping on a cheap tempered glass protector that’s going to turn the screen into a mirror or mess up the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Has anyone found a specific brand that maintains that clarity without sacrificing protection?
Also, I’m really interested in the MagSafe ecosystem. I know it’s technically an Apple thing, but I’ve seen some great S25 Ultra cases with built-in magnets. Are they worth it for car mounts and wallets, or do they interfere with the S-Pen functionality? I use the S-Pen constantly for work notes, so I can't afford any dead spots on the screen.
Lastly, I realized my old charging bricks are only 15W and 25W. I want to take full advantage of the 45W super-fast charging, but I’m confused about which cables and bricks actually support the PPS standard needed for the fastest speeds. I’m not looking for the cheapest knock-offs; I’d rather spend a bit more on high-quality accessories that won't degrade the battery over time.
For those of you who already have your hands on the device or have been researching as much as I have, what are the absolute must-have accessories you’d recommend to get the most out of this beast?

This^ Also compare Samsung 45W Power Adapter with Cable vs Anker 313 Charger Ace 45W vs Ugreen Nexode 45W USB C Charger. Official is safest maybe, others are cheaper... Anker is probably best value!

Curious about one thing: are u prioritizing drop protection or keeping that anti-reflective look? Honestly, I had issues with "protective" glass making the screen look like a mirror. Also, what case are u leaning towards? If you go for something like the Spigen Tough Armor Case for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, it might pop off certain screen films. Ngl, safety is key but its tricky to balance!

Ok so, welcome to the Ultra club! Seriously, I've been rocking Samsung flagships for basically a decade now and the S25 Ultra is a different beast entirely. In my experience, the accessory game has changed sooo much since the S21 days. Here is how I see the screen protector situation based on what I've tried over the years:
- Cheap Tempered Glass: Highkey ruins the anti-reflective screen. It basically turns your $1300 phone into a mirror. Plus, the fingerprint sensor gets super finicky.
- Official/Thin Films: Great for clarity and keeping that anti-glare vibe, but they basically offer zero drop protection. I've scratched mine just putting it in my pocket with keys.
- Premium Optical Glass: The one I got actually uses a special adhesive. It's pricey but it's the only way to keep the fingerprint sensor working 100% while getting that impact protection. About the MagSafe stuff—honestly, be careful. I tried a cheap magnetic case last year and it created dead spots for my S-Pen. I was trying to take notes in a meeting and the pen just... stopped working in the middle of the screen. I learned the hard way that you gotta get a case that specifically shields the magnets or at least positions them perfectly. If you see people complaining about dead zones, it's almost always the magnets. For charging, basically just look for 'PPS' on the box. I've used older bricks and they barely hit 25W even with a good cable. Anyway, its a massive investment so definitely dont cheap out on the protection. gl!

I agree Anker is great, but unfortunately, my magnetic case was a waste cuz it caused: - S-Pen dead spots
- Digitizer interference I ended up returning it, you know?

Unfortunately, the accessory market for these Ultras has been pretty disappointing lately. I have had issues with brands that used to be the gold standard but now the quality just isnt as good as expected. Its honestly a struggle to find stuff that actually fits right. One quick thing tho, are you planning on using a bulky case or are you looking for something thin? That really changes which screen protectors will actually stay on the phone.
- Just buy a screen protector from Samsung if you want to keep the anti-reflective look.
- Look into Pitaka or Mous if you are set on the magnetic stuff.
- For the 45W charging, basically any PPS brick from Belkin is gonna work. tbh, those magnetic cases almost always cause dead spots for the S-Pen. If you take a lot of notes for work, you might end up hating it.
