I'm upgrading from an old S20 and I'm totally lost with the S26 Ultra. My old phone has a cracked screen and the battery is basically dead. I don't know much about cases. I was thinking maybe a big bulky one? But then I thought it might make the phone too heavy to hold. My logic was that more plastic means better protection but I'm really confused. This phone is huge and the camera is the main reason I bought it so I don't want to block it. Sorry if this is a basic question. I have no idea where to start looking for something good. What are the top-rated protective cases?

oh man you picked the perfect time to upgrade because the S26 Ultra is a literal BEAST compared to that old S20. cases are lowkey my obsession and ive tried basically everything on the market for the ultra series. if youre worried about bulk but want max protection you gotta look at the OtterBox Defender Series XT for Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra because it keeps the ruggedness without feeling like a brick in your pocket. but honestly if you want the best camera protection ngl the UAG Monarch Pro Kevlar for S26 Ultra is the goat... it has five layers of protection and the lip around the lens is MASSIVE so you wont scratch those expensive sensors. dont get caught up in the more plastic is better logic because its really about the internal shock absorption and corner bumpers. anyway bottom line is focus on something with a high drop rating...

this comes up a lot but honestly how much you wanna spend? logic says expensive = better but thats lowkey a lie. if you want max value without the bulk try:

  • Spigen Tough Armor for S26 Ultra
  • Ringke Fusion-X for S26 Ultra the spigen has a kickstand too which is CLUTCH for a screen this size. lmk your budget and i can get more specific.
