Hello, I'm planning to use it with Samsung Galaxy S24 and need a camera lens recommendation. What would you take?

Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector is definitely the best choice for Samsung Galaxy S24. The durability is impressive The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for protection and for functionality. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding use.

ESR HaloLock Tempered Glass is my recommendation for Samsung Galaxy S24. Works great!

> If you want actual results, you might want to consider the Moment 58mm Tele Mobile Lens. Catching up on this now and yeah, ThunderThimble is right about the clip-on junk. Tbh, it's pretty disappointing how many premium brands sell glass that actually degrades the S24's sensor output. Most of them use low-grade soda-lime glass which kills ur contrast and adds a ton of chromatic aberration. I tried the Sandmarc Anamorphic Lens Edition recently and while it's pricey, the multi-coating actually handles flares properly without that nasty purple fringing. If you're more into portraits than cinema, look at the ShiftCam 60mm Telephoto ProLens. The edge-to-edge sharpness is decent, but unfortunately, you still lose a bit of that native OIS stability because of the added weight. Just a heads up, these high-end optics are heavy and can sometimes make the focus motor whine if u aren't careful with the mount alignment. Like someone mentioned, the mount is everything... if it's off by even a millimeter, ur corners turn to mush.

Have you thought about the brand? For Samsung Galaxy S24 different brands have advantages.

VelvetFirewall is spot on. Its kinda frustrating seeing everyone talk about screen protectors when the OP actually wants to talk optics. I tried using the Ringke Camera Lens Frame on my S24 and it was honestly a massive disappointment. I had issues with the autofocus hunting constantly... it just couldnt lock on because of the extra layer. Photos looked washed out too, not as good as expected for such a pricey phone. I learned pretty quick that adding any generic glass over the S24 lenses just creates reflections that the software cant handle. I ended up just sticking with my current setup which is just a case with a massive raised edge for the camera module. Most enthusiasts I chat with say the same thing... adding cheap glass over high-end lenses is usually a recipe for bad photos. Save your money honestly.

I would suggest being really careful with those cheap clip-on lens kits you see all over the place. Most of them just create weird artifacts and ruin the S24's natural sharpness. If you want actual results, you might want to consider the Moment 58mm Tele Mobile Lens. Just keep in mind you'll need to grab a Moment Case for Samsung Galaxy S24 to actually mount it securely. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole once you start buying glass, but the optical quality is way better than any digital crop. Just make sure to keep the mounting point clean so you don't get dust trapped between the lenses.

Interesting question! For Samsung Galaxy S24 it also depends on your usage style. What's your main concern?

For Samsung Galaxy S24 I would definitely pay attention to the fit, especially if it's about cases.

Wait, I think everyone's getting mixed up here lol. Tbh, I agree that Spigen is top-tier for general protection, but ur all suggesting screen protectors when the OP asked about a camera lens. If ur actually trying to improve ur photography on the S24, u gotta look at the technical side of the glass. Based on what the community's been testing lately: * Most people in the enthusiast groups actually advise against 'lens protectors' because they cause internal reflections and ruin the S24's low-light performance. Basically, u get ghosting from the air gap.
* If ur looking for actual external lenses (like for macro or telephoto), the community consensus is to only go for kits that have a dedicated mounting plate. Clip-ons usually don't align perfectly with the S24's sensor axis, which kills ur corner sharpness.
* Technical reviews show that unless the glass has high-end multi-layer coatings, u'll lose a lot of that high-frequency detail Samsung's processing works so hard to keep. Honestly, unless ur working in a desert, just get a case with a deep bezel for the camera. Adding extra layers of cheap glass over a flagship sensor is usually a downgrade.
