How do I share my Amazon Canada cart with others?

I am honestly so fed up with how Amazon works sometimes like I am trying to be excited about my new place but this is ruining the vibe. I'm moving into a small studio in Toronto at the end of the month and I've spent days picking out the perfect stuff. I have about 600 dollars worth of stuff in my Amazon.ca cart right now. My roommates want to see the list so we can split the cost of the shared kitchen stuff but for some reason I cant find a way to just send the whole cart to them.

It is driving me insane honestly. I tried googling it and people keep saying to use the 'Share' button but I swear it isnt there on the Canadian app or the desktop site. Like am I blind or is it just hidden? I even tried to make a Wish List instead but then half the items I had already picked out didn't transfer over easily and it was just a giant mess and took way too long. I am so ready to just switch to buying everything at IKEA at this point even though I wanted the Prime shipping. It's so frustrating because I'm trying to coordinate this whole move and I have a strict timeline and this one little tech issue is holding everything up. Every time I think I found a workaround it ends up being for the US version of the site and doesn't work for me here.

Does anyone know a trick or like a specific way to share a live cart on Amazon Canada because I really don't want to have to manually type out 25 different product names into a group chat just so my friends can see what I'm buying... How do I actually share the cart with them?

Are you on the app or browser? I saved fifty bucks last move by sharing lists to find cheaper options tbh.

To add to the point above: I totally agree that the default sharing options for the Canadian site are basically non-existent. I went through this exact same thing when we moved into our condo last year and it was such a headache trying to get my partner to see the kitchen stuff I picked out. Honestly, I ended up using Share-A-Cart because it felt the most secure and didnt make me jump through hoops. It worked so well and I am very satisfied with how it kept things organized.

  • Look for the green coupon boxes on bulk kitchen supplies to save extra.
  • Check if any items have shipping delays before you send the final cart. I am really happy with how it handled our move. It saved me so much time and I felt safe knowing it was just sharing the items, not my sensitive account info or payment details... it just works well.

Unfortunately, Amazon Canada doesnt have a native sharing protocol for live carts, which is honestly so disappointing. I had issues with this myself and it is just not as good as expected for a tech giant. TL;DR: You basically have to use Share-A-Cart because the standard site wont let you do it. Are you looking for them to be able to add their own items to the list, or do you just need them to see the final prices for the split?

Ugh, tell me about it. I agree with nfhgfgoriu that the Canadian site is a total mess for this. I had issues with it last time I moved and honestly it is just not as good as expected from a tech giant like Amazon. If you need to Share Amazon cart you just gotta use the extensions because the native app wont help you. Moving to Toronto is such a vibe tho, hope the studio works out! It reminds me of when I tried to save money by building my own desk for my first place.

  • I bought this massive slab of oak from a local shop.
  • Spent three weeks sanding it down in a tiny hallway.
  • Realized halfway through I didnt even have the right screws for the legs.
  • Ended up just propping it up on some plastic crates for a month while I waited for a tool delivery. Basically my whole apartment looked like a construction zone and my cat hated the noise. Anyway lol sorry I kinda went off on a tangent there.
