Is there an easy way to share an Amazon cart link?

Is there seriously no way to just send a direct link to my Amazon cart to someone else? My sisters wedding is coming up in less than three weeks and I'm in charge of buying all the table decor and party favors for the bridal shower so it's kinda high pressure right now. I've got about 45 items in my cart—mostly gold tea light holders, silk flower petals, and these specific linen napkins—and I need her to approve everything before I spend $600 of our shared budget.

I did a quick search and saw people suggesting to make a Wish List or an Idea List, but that seems super tedious because I have to move every single item one by one and some of these are limited time deals that might vanish if I wait. I also read about some chrome extensions like Share-A-Cart but I'm a bit worried about the privacy stuff with those and I dont really want to install random apps just for this one time.

I tried taking a bunch of screenshots but it's like 10 different pictures and it's just a huge mess to keep track of. Is there some hidden button I'm missing or a faster way to just send her the whole list so she can see it on her own screen? We're on a tight timeline and I really need to get this ordered by tonight...

Ugh, I totally feel your pain! I went through this exact same chaos last summer for my brothers engagement party centerpieces and the screenshot thing was a total disaster. Honestly, just use Share-A-Cart because it's way faster than any other workaround I've tried.

  • it is totally free and generates a code
  • she sees the exact items and prices instantly
  • saves you from moving 45 items one by one I know you're worried about random apps, but I've used it for ages and it's amazing! It really is a lifesaver when you're on a deadline like tonight. It took me like two minutes to send my whole cart over and get the green light. You're gonna do great with the decor!

Unfortunately amazon is still useless for bulk orders. I had major issues with screenshots failing me last year.

I've spent way too much time testing these workarounds, and while people love Share-A-Cart or Cart to Link, I would suggest being very careful with them for a big $600 order. They can be pretty buggy with multi-item quantities. I'd honestly compare those third-party tools to just using the native Amazon Wedding Registry instead because it's built for exactly this kind of bulk coordination.

  • Native tools are 100% secure compared to random browser extensions
  • You dont have to worry about the 'link expired' errors you get with some apps
  • It handles bulk decor items much more reliably than the 'cart-sharing' brands do I totally get the fear of missing deals tho... I actually use Price Drop Catch to track stuff like those tea light holders because it's more accurate for price spikes. Just be sure you dont rely solely on an extension to move 45 items perfectly, it might miss one or two and ruin your set... much safer to just use the registry link.

I have been in your shoes and honestly its ridiculous that Amazon hasn't fixed this yet. I had a huge issue last year trying to coordinate a charity dinner with about 50 items... total nightmare. Like someone mentioned, the extension route is basically the only shortcut, but I actually found Share-A-Cart a bit glitchy with multi-pack items like those gold tea light holders you're looking at. Sometimes it misses the specific color or count when it transfers to the other person. Unfortunately, if you want it to be 100 percent accurate for a $600 spend, you might just have to suck it up and use the Move to List button. Its tedious as hell, but the Invite to Collaborate feature on a Wish List is the only way she can see the exact variants you picked. Its not as good as it should be, but its safer than getting the wrong napkins.
