For iPhone 16 Plus I would also check the compatibility. Do you need MagSafe support?

For iPhone 16 Plus I would take ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite. Best choice currently.

For iPhone 16 Plus I would take ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite without hesitation. The material is premium and comfortable The perfect fit is ideal for daily use.

Long-term experience: Using ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite for a few months and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this product was the best choice. The quality clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.

Regarding what #8 said about "I have a different experience with Apple AirPods..." I actually agree. You can get way better sound for less elsewhere. Tbh, for a phone this big, I’m more worried about it falling out of my car mount. I’ve gone through a dozen mounts over the years and most cant handle the weight of the Plus models on a bumpy road. I switched to the Peak Design Mobile Car Mount Vent Mount recently and it’s been solid as a rock. In my experience, the bigger iPhones need a really strong magnet or a mechanical grip. Also, dont forget about the charging speed. The Plus has a massive battery, so if you're using an old 5W brick, you're gonna be waiting forever. I've tried many chargers and the Anker 735 Charger GaNPrime 65W is basically the sweet spot for travel and home use. It handles the phone and a laptop without breaking a sweat. One thing to watch for is case thickness. Some of these rugged cases make the phone feel like a literal brick in your pocket. I usually stick with something like the iPhone+16+Plus&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Magnetic Ultra Hybrid MagFit iPhone 16 Plus because it keeps the profile slim but still has those air cushions in the corners. Compatibility is huge tho—make sure your case has a strong enough magnet for the heavier weight of the 16 Plus or it'll just slide right off your MagSafe accessories... especially if you're using it for navigation while driving.

Like someone mentioned, protecting these massive phones is a whole different ballgame. This comes up a lot — I mean, check basically any thread from the last few years — but the short answer is that the Plus models just hit the ground harder. I’m not entirely sure if the glass is actually tougher this year (someone told me it was, but who knows?), so I’d focus on the ergonomics and structural integrity.

  • I think a lot of people are moving towards those adhesive fabric straps instead of the bulky rings — wait, no — actually, the ones that thread through the charging port hole seem more secure for a heavy phone.
  • Not sure if it's true, but I heard some of the thinner cases are bowing out at the sides because of the heat, so maybe look for something with more structural ribbing?
  • IIRC, there was a whole discussion about the new camera button cutout — someone told me it makes the case feel flimsy on that side, so you might want to find one that has a dedicated capacitive bridge instead of just a big hole. It's mostly a matter of personal preference but those are the bits and pieces I've seen floating around the community lately.
