Hello, I'm planning to use it with iPhone 11 and need a case recommendation. What would you take?

Depends on what exactly you want to protect on iPhone 11. Screen or also the back?

For iPhone 11 I would definitely pay attention to the fit, especially if it's about cases.

My clear recommendation for iPhone 11: Spigen Tough Armor Case. The quality is excellent The latest technology ensures perfect fit and good protection.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better quality. Very good compatibility with iPhone 11 features. Can be used without problems for various purposes. Even after extended use, no quality losses. Very good build quality, even at high usage.

Tbh, I’m gonna have to disagree with the heavy-duty suggestions so far. Those cases are basically bricks, and the iPhone 11 is already a bit wide in the hand. If ur looking for something that actually looks good but still survives a drop, the community always raves about these: - Mous Limitless 3.0 – I LOVE this one. It uses AiroShock tech (I think?), so it's thin but basically indestructible. - Speck Presidio2 Grip – This is my go-to for better handling. Those ridges make a HUGE difference if u tend to drop ur phone. I’ve seen some reviews saying the buttons on the Speck can be a bit stiff at first, but they usually break in after a week or so. Anyway, just my two cents because I can't stand how bulky those other ones feel in a pocket. Good luck with the choice!

I was just reading through these and honestly I have to politely disagree with the really bulky suggestions. I am still pretty new to the technical side of phone accessories, but from what I have seen, the iPhone 11 is already a bit of a tank. Adding a huge case just makes it feel like a brick in your pocket and it can actually trap heat during charging which might hurt the battery life over time - at least thats what I read on some forums. I ended up going with the Caudabe Sheath instead and I think it is a much smarter technical choice for a few reasons:

  • It uses a special shock-absorbing polymer that is super thin but still handles drops pretty well.
  • The texture is really unique - it is like a matte finish that does not get greasy or show fingerprints like the clear cases do.
  • It keeps the phone profile slim so it actually fits in a car mount or a pocket easily.
  • The buttons still feel clicky because of how they molded the edges. Does anyone else worry about the heat issues with those thick heavy-duty cases? I am just curious if that is a real thing or if I am overthinking the hardware specs.

Saw this thread earlier and wanted to jump in before you buy anything. Are you someone who drops their phone on concrete often or do you just need something for basic scratches? It really changes what I would suggest since reliability is number one. Personally ive had issues with some cases losing their shape over time, so I would be careful with the really cheap brands you find on Amazon. A couple solid options from my own experience:

  • <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Apple+ iPhone+11+Silicone+Case&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Apple iPhone 11 Silicone Case
  • The fit is exactly what it should be and it wont trap heat like the heavy plastic ones.
  • <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=RhinoShield+SolidSuit+for+ iPhone+11&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">RhinoShield SolidSuit for iPhone 11
  • This is my go-to for impact safety without the massive bulk. Quick tip: make sure to check the lip height around the camera lens too. Most people forget that part but its the first thing to break if it falls flat. Lemme know what your daily routine is like and I can help narrow it down further...

Just saw this thread and @Reply #2 - good point! Spigen is usually amazing for the price, but im super into the technical side of materials lately! Its honestly fantastic how much engineering goes into these things now. I think I read somewhere that the iPhone 11 specifically benefits from cases with better thermal conductivity? Not sure if thats 100% true, but IIRC, some of the newer composite materials are way better at letting the phone breathe than the old school chunky rubber ones.

  • Aramid fiber shells are honestly amazing for keeping things thin but strong
  • Cases with a honeycomb internal pattern are great for dispersing impact energy
  • I heard certain clear polymers use tech now so they dont turn yellow as fast Basically, if you want to keep the phone feeling like a phone and not a brick, looking into the material science is a game changer lol!
