Hello, I'm planning to use it with iPhone 16 Pro and need a clear case recommendation. What would you take?

For iPhone 16 Pro I would definitely pay attention to the fit, especially if it's about cases.

Depends on what exactly you want to protect on iPhone 16 Pro. Screen or also the back?

tbh I totally agree with the point about the cutouts and the yellowing issues. I'm pretty new to the whole iPhone scene, just picked up my 16 Pro, and honestly I'm already stressed about the case turning yellow. I think I heard from someone that the 'hard' plastic cases stay clear longer than the soft rubbery ones? Idk if that's actually true or just marketing though. It's pretty hard to find something that doesn't make the new camera button feel weird to use or hard to reach. I'm not 100% sure but maybe those super thin shells are better for the button feel? I just want something simple that won't fall apart or look dirty in a month. Does anyone know if the material actually makes a difference for the grip, or is it basically all the same?

Honestly, I’m gonna have to play devil’s advocate here because I see a lot of people recommending the standard TPU-heavy options. If you're looking at what the enthusiast community is actually saying lately, the biggest warning I can give is to watch out for the Camera Control button implementation on these clear cases. Sooo many of the 'best sellers' use a cheap cutout that makes the new sensor basically impossible to use comfortably, or they use materials that lose their clickiness within weeks. Also, just a heads up from an expert perspective: almost every clear case with TPU sides *will* yellow eventually, no matter what the marketing says about UV resistance. It’s just basic chemistry. If you really care about longevity, you gotta look for cases that use high-grade polycarbonate for the entire frame, even if it makes them a bit stiffer. The community consensus is really shifting toward prioritizing proper tactile feedback and sensor access over just basic clarity right now. Just something to keep in mind before you drop money on a case that feels gross in three months.
