Looking for recommendations on the best headphones for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Budget is flexible, but mainly interested in wireless options with great sound quality and ANC. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, ive been a bit let down by the wireless flagship market lately. Everyone jumps straight to the AirPods but the soundstage feels really cramped if youre actually into high-fidelity stuff. I have had some annoying firmware issues with mine recently too which is just frustrating. Quick question tho, are you looking for over-ear cans or just in-ear buds? It makes a huge difference for the technical performance you can expect for that budget. Adding my two cents on the technical side:

  • Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones have technically superior ANC but the plastic hinges feel kinda cheap for the price, which is super disappointing tbh.
  • Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are basically the kings of silence but their app is honestly a disaster half the time and loses connection for no reason.
  • <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= Sennheiser+Momentum+4+Wireless&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless actually sounds the best out of these but the ANC isnt quite as aggressive as the Sony or Bose. Let me know what fit you prefer and i can help you narrow it down more! Happy to dig into the codecs with you.

AirPods Pro 2 are the obvious choice - seamless integration with iPhone, incredible ANC, and spatial audio is mind-blowing. Yes, they're pricey ($249) but worth every penny if you're in the Apple ecosystem.
