So I just got the shipping confirmation for my iPhone 16 and now I'm realize I have absolutely nothing to protect the screen with yet. I’m the kind of person who wont even peel the plastic off the phone until I have a tempered glass ready to go because I just know I’ll scratch it within five minutes of owning it. I've been doing some deep dives into what's actually available right now since the phone is so new and I'm basically torn between three options.

The first one is the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit which seems like the safe bet. It’s like 15 or 20 bucks for a two pack and that alignment tray is legendary for people like me who can never get the glass straight. But I’ve heard some people say the edges on the Spigen glass can be a bit sharp or they dont quite cover the entire display area perfectly on the newer models. Then I was looking at the dbrand tempered glass because I love their skins but its more like $25-30 and I’m wondering if the quality is actually that much better or if I’m just paying for the brand name at that point.

The third option is the Belkin UltraGlass 2 that they sell right at the Apple Store. It’s crazy expensive at like $40 for one single protector but they say it’s chemically strengthened or whatever. I’m willing to pay it if it actually stays clean and resists fingerprints better than the cheap stuff because I hate that greasy look after a day of use. I’m trying to stay under $40 total though and I need it to be something I can get delivered by this weekend at the latest since I'm in Chicago and shipping usually takes a minute. Does anyone have experience with these on the older models or know if any of them have updated their designs specifically for the thinner bezels on the 16? I just want the best balance of easy installation and that smooth glass feel without breaking the bank...

I've been really happy with the iPhone+16+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Tempered Glass iPhone 16 2-Pack and it works well every time.

  • Spigen: Foolproof install with the tray and way more cost-effective for a two-pack.
  • dbrand: Good quality glass but you're mostly paying for the brand packaging. Go with Spigen, it covers the screen perfectly and stays smooth. No complaints.

Like someone mentioned, the value in these multi-packs makes way more sense than the Apple Store. In my experience, expensive coatings wear off just as fast as mid-range stuff anyway. I've used iPhone+16+Screen+Protector+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">amFilm OneTouch iPhone 16 Screen Protector 2-Pack for years tho because:

  • jig provides perfect alignment every time
  • glass offers top-tier scratch resistance
  • price point is much more reasonable Honestly, dont waste the extra money, just grab a two-pack so you have a backup ready.

I've tried many over the years and iPhone+16+3-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ESR Armorite Screen Protector iPhone 16 3-Pack is a better deal.

  • crazy durable
  • includes frame Dont waste money at the Apple Store honestly.

> It’s crazy expensive at like $40 for one single protector Honestly those prices are such a scam and it drives me crazy. Quality keeps dropping while costs go up... unfortunately companies just dont care about reliability anymore, ngl.
