Been thinking about this since you posted - I was sooo worried about heat killing my battery. Basically went on a mission to find something chill. I tested these:

- Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (3-in-1 Pad) Qi2 Certified 15W (sleek but warm)
- ESR 25W 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station with MagSafe and CryoBoost (the fan actually helps!)

I guess active cooling is highkey necessary for fast speeds? Just gotta be careful with airflow so u dont fry anything...

So basically the consensus is that Qi2 is the way to go for the 17 Pro, mostly because it fixes that alignment heat issue that used to KILL my older batteries. I've been doing this for literally a decade and honestly... I've spent way too much on "premium" stands that ended up being glorified paperweights after a year. Looking at you, Belkin.

Anyway, if ur on a budget but still want that 15W speed without the "Apple Tax," I've found that the Ugreen MagFlow Qi2 Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1 is actually a solid value play. It's usually cheaper than the big brands but keeps things reasonably cool... unlike some of the early MagGo stuff I've tried which got way too hot for comfort.

Tbh, I had a really bad experience with a super expensive Nomad Stand One MagSafe Charger a while back—gorgeous, but the heat management was non-existent for the price. If ur really trying to save cash, just grab a certified puck like the Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (Pad) Qi2 Certified 15W and literally just stick it to ur desk. It's not as "desk setup" sexy as a stand, but it's half the price and doesn't trap heat as much as the bulky 3-in-1 units do.
