Hey guys! I just treated myself to the new iPhone 16 Plus and I'm honestly terrified of getting that first scratch on the display. I've had issues before with protectors that don't fit well with cases or leave those annoying gaps around the edges.

I am specifically looking for something with:

  • Full edge-to-edge coverage
  • An easy alignment tool for a bubble-free install
  • Good clarity that doesn't mess with the FaceID sensors

I've seen so many random brands on Amazon but I'd rather get a recommendation from people actually using them. Which screen protector would you guys suggest for the best protection and fit?

Adding my two cents here, but I have to respectfully disagree with the Spigen pick if you're looking for maximum durability. Spigen is fine for basic use, but standard tempered glass can be a bit brittle around the edges where the iPhone+screen+curves&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">iPhone screen curves. Personally, I'd suggest looking at the iPhone+16+Plus&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ESR Armorite Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Plus. It's specifically engineered to handle way more impact—tbh I think they claim it holds up to 110 lbs of force. What I really like is the ultra-clear finish that covers the FaceID area without any cutouts that just end up collecting dust and lint. The alignment kit is also super precise, which is huge because even a tiny misalignment makes cases pop the edges up. It's definitely a safer bet for someone who's paranoid about that first scratch.

Quick addition since Ive tried them all over the years. Honestly, you dont need to drop 40 bucks for quality. I always go with iPhone+16+Plus+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">amFilm OneTouch Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Plus 2-Pack because its way cheaper than the big brands but just as reliable. The alignment tool is super solid too. Save your money for a better case, cuz even the priciest glass can still fail at the wrong angle.

Honestly, I've been through so many protectors over the years and I always end up back at the same place. Just go with Spigen Tempered Glass, you really cant go wrong. Their alignment kits are basically foolproof for getting that bubble-free look and the clarity is always spot on for FaceID. Theyre pretty much the gold standard for easy installs, definitely my go-to.

Jumping in here to say I am in the exact same boat as you right now. I just unboxed my iPhone+16+Plus+and+I+have+l&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">iPhone 16 Plus and I have literally been keeping it on a microfiber cloth on my desk because I am so paranoid about those micro-scratches. It is such a stressful thing to deal with when you just spent all that money, right? Honestly, I have been obsessively researching because I want that perfect edge-to-edge fit too. I have been looking at the iPhone+16+Plus&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Belkin UltraGlass 2 Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Plus since it is the one Apple officially stocks. The pros are that it is super thin and the clarity is basically perfect, but the huge con is the price tag. It is like forty bucks for a single protector, which feels like a total gamble if you get a single dust spec under it during the install. I also checked out the iPhone+16+Plus&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass XTR3 for iPhone 16 Plus. It is supposed to be way more impact-resistant because of their HexiCore technology. It sounds great for safety, but I have heard some people say the blue light filter they include can slightly tint the whites on the screen, which really bugs me. I am really torn. Usually, I am all about safety and reliability, but the cost for these premium brands is getting insane lately. I am still debating if the extra money is worth the peace of mind compared to a cheaper multipack where you get a second chance if you mess up. Tbh, I am probably gonna wait and see what else people suggest here before I finally pull the trigger... its just so hard to choose.
