Just grabbed the new iPhone 16 Plus in that teal color and I love the screen size but man finding a wallet that actually fits the vibe and stays on is harder than I thought. I've been looking at the Apple Finewoven ones because they have the Find My support which is huge for me since I'm always misplacing my stuff on the L train here in Chicago but honestly the reviews are kind of a nightmare? Like everyone says they look like trash after a week of use. Then I saw the Moft stand wallet which looks cool but I read somewhere that the magnets on the 16 series might be slightly different or the camera bump interferes with some older MagSafe accessories. I dont want to spend like 60 bucks on something that's gonna slide off every time I pull it out of my jeans.
I really just need something that holds like 3 cards max:
- My state ID
- Ventra card for the train
- One debit card
My budget is around $50 tops. I'm worried the standard size wallets will look weirdly small on the Plus model or maybe there are ones specifically scaled for the larger back? Or do they all just use the same footprint regardless of the phone size and I'm just overthinking it. Does anyone have a specific brand they recommend for the 16 Plus that actually feels secure...

I've used plenty of these and you're basically overthinking the size thing, they all use the same footprint. I'm very satisfied with the ESR MagSafe Wallet with Find My HaloLock Geo.

- Full Find My support included
- Solid adjustable kickstand The PopSockets Phone Wallet for MagSafe 3-Card Capacity works well too if you want a grip. No complaints on security with either of these, honestly.

Just saw this. Quick question though, are you rocking a case on that 16 Plus or going naked? Makes a huge difference for the magnet strength. I have been really happy with these alternatives:
- Spigen Valentinus MagFit Magnetic Wallet Card Holder: Really sleek, fits the large back well, and the grip is super reliable.
- Moft Snap-on Phone Stand and Wallet MagSafe Compatible: Way more durable than the Apple stuff and the stand function is handy for the train. Neither has Find My, but the fit is rock solid.

- Absolutely agree. Magnet strength is basically everything when youre commuting. Been using the Sinjimoru M-Flap Magnetic Wallet for MagSafe and honestly its been such a relief.
- That silicone flap keeps cards totally locked in so they dont fly out
- Magnet array feels way stronger than the flimsy Apple ones
- Sits perfectly flush on the 16 Plus Feeling way more secure now that my Ventra card isnt sliding around on the train... works great.

To add to the point above: you gotta check the magnet specs! Since you are riding the L train, you need a high Gauss rating.
