Upgrading from a scratched Pixel 6 Pro—battery was dying anyway—and I'm anxious about this Fold. Torn between dbrand's Prism and Spigen Glas.tR. I looked at Whitestone, but the UV glue seems risky. Does dbrand justify the price for the outer screen, or is there a better high-quality option? (Needs to fit a thin case too).

@Reply #3 - good point! However, ZAGG is overpriced. This gets asked weekly. Use Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is cheaper, includes an alignment tool, and fits thin cases better.

Rarely post but I saw this and had to chime in because—well, I've spent way too much time obsessing over these exact options. I was terrified of ruining the outer display—especially coming from an older phone—and that UV glue stuff is just a disaster waiting to happen near a hinge. You really don't want liquid seeping in there (trust me on that). I've messed around with a few and, wait—no, I mean I've basically tried every high-end one—and here is the direct truth:

> The dbrand Prism Screen Protector for Pixel 9 Pro Fold is worth the premium To add to the point above: I totally agree on dbrand — it's the cleanest install — but the ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite Pixel 9 Pro Fold is actually my pick because of the lifetime warranty. It’s a bit of a splurge — wait, no — I mean it’s quite expensive, but you’ll literally never have to buy a replacement again.

I spent a moment thinking about those repair costs — they’re high (enough to make anyone nervous) — so you should be careful. If dbrand seems too expensive, you can save money — wait, no — I mean, you get more case-friendly spares with these:
