So I finally upgraded my phone to the Pixel 10 Pro XL and honestly its huge compared to my old one but I realized I have a major problem. I tried using my old charger from like four years ago and it took literally all night to get to 80 percent and the screen said charging slowly which is super annoying. Im totally lost when it comes to this stuff and I keep seeing people talk about watts and PD and I have no idea where to start with any of that or if I need a specific brick for this specific phone.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question but I really dont want to fry my new phone or buy something that takes forever to charge. Im going on a trip to Chicago next Thursday so I really need to find something fast on Amazon or at Best Buy before then. My budget is like 30 or 40 bucks max. Does anyone know which ones are actually the best for this phone? Is there a specific brand like Anker or something that just works without me having to learn a whole science degree about electricity? I just want it to charge as fast as possible so Im not stuck to a wall all day...

I would highly suggest being careful with those older bricks since they usually lack the PPS (Programmable Power Supply) standard that newer Pixels require. From my experience, the biggest mistake people make is buying a high-wattage brick that is not PPS compatible, which usually results in the phone defaulting to much slower speeds anyway. You should definitely look for something like the Anker 313 Charger 45W PPS because it specifically supports the power profiles for the 10 Pro XL. Alternatively, the Google 45W USB-C Power Adapter is the safest option if you can grab it at Best Buy before your trip. One more thing... make sure you use a cable rated for at least 60W or higher. Using an old, thin cable can actually bottleneck the charging speed or cause unnecessary heat, which is something you really want to avoid with a brand new device.
