Finally upgraded to the Moto G Power 2026 and man I am so stoked about this screen! Its huge compared to my old phone. I just started doing more weekend trips up towards the Wisconsin border and my old vent clip is basically useless now because it cant handle the weight of this thing plus it blocks the charger port which is a total dealbreaker for long drives. I did some digging online and saw the iOttie Easy One Touch 6 is really popular but I saw a few reviews saying the side arms hit the volume buttons on the newer Moto models because they moved the button placement slightly this year. Then I looked at those LISEN magnetic ones but honestly I'm paranoid about magnets near the sensors on a brand new phone lol. I really need something sturdy that wont vibrate like crazy on the highway because I use it for navigation constantly. My budget is like 35 or 40 bucks max and I gotta get this sorted by Friday before my next trip. Does anyone have a specific brand that fits the 2026 frame perfectly without squishing the buttons or falling off the dash when it gets hot out?

I'd be careful with dash mounts if it gets hot out because the adhesive usually melts. I would suggest trying a cup holder mount instead to keep it steady and away from those side buttons.

I've been using these larger phones for a while now and honestly, I'm super satisfied with moving away from vent clips. They just cant handle the weight of the newer Moto frames without drooping or shaking. I was worried about the button placement too, so I spent some time testing out a few options that actually keep the charging port open and dont mess with the side buttons.

  • VICSEED Car Phone Holder Mount Military Grade: This one works well because the bottom feet slide down. That lets the phone sit higher so the side clamps don't hit your volume rockers. It's very stable and didn't vibrate at all when I was hitting 70 on the freeway.
  • Vanmass Universal Car Phone Mount with Suction Cup: This is what I'm using now. It has a really solid build quality and handles the heat through the windshield without falling off. I'm really happy with how it holds up on 4-hour drives. I'd skip the magnets if you're paranoid like me... I just dont trust them near the internals of a brand new phone. The mechanical grips on these two are much more reliable for peace of mind and they're both pretty sturdy. Both should fit your budget easily and get to you before your Friday trip if you order today. Let me know if you need help looking at any other specs!
