Hey everyone! I just upgraded to the Moto G Stylus (2025) and I’m super stoked about the improved display and the stylus latency, but I was a bit bummed to see that there’s no charging brick included in the box this year. I’ve been using an old 10W cube from my last phone, and it’s taking forever to juice up that massive 5,000mAh battery.

I want to take full advantage of the fast charging speeds this phone is capable of. I believe it supports up to 30W TurboPower, but I’m a little confused about whether I need a specific Motorola-branded plug or if a third-party GaN charger from a brand like Anker or Ugreen would work just as well. I’m looking for something compact—ideally with foldable prongs—so I can easily toss it in my bag for work without it scratching my other gear.

Has anyone tested any specific 30W+ chargers that reliably trigger the 'TurboPower' notification on the lock screen? I’m also curious if it’s worth getting a dual-port brick so I can charge my earbuds at the same time without splitting the power too much. What bricks are you guys using to keep your G Stylus topped off quickly and safely?

yo, quick reply while i have a sec. i totally get the frustration with the 10W cube—it's like trying to fill a swimming pool with a garden hose, right? honestly, over the years I've tested a ton of these and you definitely don't need to stick to the official Motorola+brick+to+get+top+spe&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola brick to get top speeds.

the Moto G Stylus (2025) uses standard USB Power Delivery (PD) with PPS (Programmable Power Supply). that PPS part is super important because it lets the phone talk to the charger to dial in the exact voltage it needs. basically, as long as a brick has PPS, it'll trigger that TurboPower notification you're looking for.

Here's what I recommend based on what I've used:

1. Anker 511 Charger (Nano 3) 30W GaN: if you want the smallest footprint possible, this is it. it's basically the size of ur old 5W apple bricks but packs a full 30W. it has those foldable prongs you want, so it won't scratch up ur gear in a bag. i've used this for years and it's bulletproof.

2. Ugreen Nexode 35W Dual Port GaN Charger: since you mentioned earbuds, this is the way to go. it's slightly bigger but still tiny thanks to the GaN tech. just remember, if you plug in your buds while charging the phone, it'll split the wattage. usually, it drops the main port to around 25W and gives 7.5W to the second port. you might lose the TurboPower label for a second while it's splitting, but it's still wayyy faster than your old cube.

tbh, i'd go with the Anker 511 Charger (Nano 3) 30W GaN for pure portability, but the dual port Ugreen is a lifesaver for travel. gl with the new phone!! 👍

For your situation, I’m sooo excited for you!! That phone is amazing! Honestly, I’m always kinda worried about batteries overheating, so I highkey recommend staying with names that focus on safety. Here is what I suggest:

* Belkin BoostCharge Pro 30W USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS - I think this is super reliable!
* Spigen ArcStation Pro 30W Wall Charger - It has foldable prongs for your bag.

Both should probably trigger TurboPower without issues. Good luck!!

Like someone mentioned, the requirements for these things are getting way more complicated than they used to be. Its honestly disappointing that we have to spend so much time researching a simple plug just to avoid damaging a brand new device. I usually try to keep my tech spending down but these days you almost cant avoid the extra costs. Reminds me of a trip I took to the mountains last year. I was trying to save money by using an old car adapter I found in my junk drawer. Halfway through the drive, I started smelling something like burnt toast and realized the adapter was literally melting into my console. I had to pull over and use a literal map from a visitor center because my phone was dead and I was terrified to plug it into anything else. spent the whole weekend without a camera or GPS. anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there
