I just picked up the new Moto G Power (2026) and I’m absolutely loving the battery life so far! However, I’m a bit paranoid about scratching this massive display. I've looked on Amazon, but there are so many random brands that I'm not sure which ones actually fit the 2026 model's specific dimensions without lifting at the edges. I’m really looking for something that is case-friendly and won't mess with the screen’s touch sensitivity. Has anyone found a reliable tempered glass protector that’s easy to install and stays bubble-free? I'd love to hear your recommendations before I end up with a scratched screen!

Similar situation here - I spent way too much time obsessing over this when I got mine last month. Honestly, I've tried many different brands over the years for my Moto phones, and it's always a gamble with the "halo effect" where the edges dont stick cuz of the 2.5D screen curvature on these newer displays.

In my experience, you dont actually need to drop $40 at a carrier store. I picked up a Motorola+Moto+G+Power+%282026%29+Tempered+Glass+Screen+Protector+3-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Mr.Shield for Motorola Moto G Power (2026) Tempered Glass Screen Protector 3-Pack for like $6.95 on Amazon. Basically, it's super cheap but actually fits the 2026 dimensions perfectly. I was kinda worried about the touch sensitivity since the glass feels a bit thick, but it's been totally fine. Plus, it's case-friendly so it doesn't pop off when I put my rugged cover on.

I also looked at the Motorola+Moto+G+Power+%282026%29+Tempered+Glass+Screen+Protector+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz for Motorola Moto G Power (2026) Tempered Glass Screen Protector 2-Pack which goes for about $7.99. I used those on my older Moto and they were solid, tho I found the Mr. Shield ones easier to line up. Seriously, just look for the ones that include those little alignment stickers or a plastic frame. Makes it sooo much easier to get it bubble-free. Anyway, I always go for the multi-packs... lowkey I usually mess up the first install anyway lol. Good luck!

Before I give advice, what's ur budget? Cheap Ibywind Screen Protector 2-Pack kits work fine but can be tricky to align. Ngl, I've tried both and it really depends on ur needs!

TL;DR: Supershieldz Tempered Glass is great for price, but Mr.Shield is better if you're worried about messin up the install. Jumping in here because I've been doing a bit of "market research" (if you can call it that lol) since I'm also a beginner with this phone. Basically, I've noticed most people on Reddit and other boards compare Supershieldz vs Mr.Shield. From what I can tell, Supershieldz is usually the favorite because they account for the screen curve a bit better so you don't get those weird lifting edges. But ngl, Mr.Shield is cool because they have a lifetime replacement thing? Tbh, I also checked out some YouTube "installation" videos for the 2026 model to see which ones come with those plastic alignment frames. Definately look for those! I think Aiseid Tempered Glass might have one? Not 100% sure but it makes it realy easy for people like me who have shaky hands. Does anyone know if the camera protector that comes in those kits actually ruins the photo quality though?
