I just pre-ordered the new Moto G Power (2025) and I'm super excited, but I’m also a total klutz. I work outdoors a lot, so I really need something that can handle a drop on concrete or some dirt. I’ve looked at a few generic brands online, but I’m worried about the fit, especially with the camera layout on this year's model. I’m specifically looking for something with a raised lip for screen protection and maybe a built-in kickstand if possible. Does anyone have experience with OtterBox, Poetic, or Spigen for this specific device yet? I'd love to hear which rugged cases offer the best grip without being too bulky in my pocket. What are your top recommendations for heavy-duty protection?

I went through this last year with my previous Moto and honestly, it’s such a headache trying to find that perfect balance between 'tank' and 'actually fits in my pocket' lol. I’m also super picky about the price cuz I dont think a case should cost like 1/4 of the phone itself. I remember spending hours looking at reviews... basically I wanted something that wouldn't die if I dropped it on a job site but also didn't feel like a total brick.

So I ended up trying a couple and here's what I found based on my journey:

1. Spigen Tough Armor for Moto G Power 5G (2025): This was my daily driver for a while. It's got this foam padding inside that actually absorbs hits really well. The kickstand is a bit thin but for $20-ish it’s a steal imo. It’s way thinner than the Otterbox stuff but still feels sturdy and has that raised lip ur looking for.
2. Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case for Moto G Power 5G (2025): If ur really worried about dirt and concrete, this is the one. It’s got port covers which literally keep all the gunk out of the charging port. It’s chunkier than the Spigen but man it feels indestructible. I think it’s usually around $25 so it’s great value compared to the 'premium' brands.
3. OtterBox Commuter Series Case for Moto G Power 5G (2025): I tried this too, and while the protection is top-tier, the price is highkey annoying for what you get. It's definitely a quality experience and I was satisfied with the fit, but honestly, I felt like the other two gave me way more bang for my buck.

Anyway, I’m really happy with how the Spigen held up long-term for grip, but if you're outdoors in the dirt all day, the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case for Moto G Power 5G (2025) is lowkey the winner for that port protection alone... hope that helps!! 👍

Ok so check out the Poetic Revolution Series Case for Moto G Power 5G (2025). It's basically the best value for money right now since it's usually under $25 and literally includes a built-in kickstand plus a screen protector frame. Honestly, Poetic fits way better than generic brands without the OtterBox tax. 👍

Yo, i feel u on the klutz factor, honestly same lol. I've been using Moto phones for years and the biggest thing I've learned is that rugged protection usually means a tradeoff with bulk, but some brands have basically perfected the balance. For your situation, I would suggest looking at Poetic. I've used their stuff for ages and they ALWAYS include those built-in kickstands you're looking for, plus their frames are seriously solid for outdoor work. If you're worried about dirt, you definitely want something with port covers. Honestly, you can't go wrong with OtterBox either if ur looking for that gold standard of drop protection. They usually have a SUPER raised lip that saves the screen every time. Just grab any of the heavy-duty ones from those brands and you'll be set. Ive dropped mine on gravel way too many times and they never let me down. good luck!!

For your situation, I gotta mention the UAG Scout Series Case for Moto G Power 5G (2025). I've dropped my phones on gravel and concrete sooo many times, and UAG always keeps 'em safe. It has that *heavy-duty* feel without being a brick in ur pocket. Honestly, it's super grippy too! If u want a cheaper alternative that still feels like a tank, check out the FNTCASE Rugged Protective Case with Kickstand for Moto G Power 2025. It's got the raised edges u need for screen safety. gl!
