I just picked up the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and the curved screen has me a bit nervous about scratches. I’m looking for something that works well with the fingerprint sensor and doesn't lift at the edges with a case. Do you guys prefer tempered glass or those TPU films for this model? Any specific brands you’d recommend?

OMG congrats on the new phone!! Honestly, the Motorola+Edge+60+Pro&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">IBYWINDU TPU Film Screen Protector for Motorola Edge 60 Pro is amazing because it actually sticks to those curves and wont mess with your fingerprint sensor at all!

Sooo I just saw this thread and I totally feel u on the curved screen anxiety. Honestly, the Edge 60 Pro looks amazing but those edges are a literal nightmare for screen protectors. For your situation, I would suggest looking into a UV liquid glue glass protector if you want that premium feel, but since you're worried about the case lifting the edges, a high-quality TPU is probably the most practical way to go.

Here's what I recommend based on what's working for me:

- Motorola+Edge+60+Pro&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Milomdoi 3+3 Pack for Motorola Edge 60 Pro: This kit is actually a steal cuz it comes with the alignment tool. I'm kinda a beginner at installing these, and the tool makes it way easier to get it centered so the case doesnt push it up.
- Motorola+Edge+60+Pro&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ArmorSuit MilitaryShield Case Friendly Film for Motorola Edge 60 Pro: This one is great because it's slightly smaller on the edges specifically so it wont lift when you put a rugged case on. Plus, it has that self-healing tech for minor scratches.

Basically, the TPU films are better for the fingerprint sensor than cheap tempered glass cuz there's no air gap. Glass often has that wierd circle over the sensor that looks ugly lol. I'm really happy with the film route... it's cheaper to replace if it gets gross too. Just make sure you do the install in a steamy bathroom to keep the dust away! gl!

Ngl, I was totally tempted to just pay one of those mall kiosks to do it for me, but I decided to go the DIY route to save some cash. I totally agree that the TPU films are way better for us to handle at home than that messy UV glue stuff. I've been looking at the technical specs, and some of these are made of a 150-micron thick chemically-strengthened TPU which is wild for how thin it feels. Here is what I’ve learned trying to get a "pro" finish myself: * Go for ArmorSuit MilitaryShield Max Coverage—it uses a wet application so you can literally slide it into place before the adhesive sets.
* Check for "Self-Healing" tech; it basically uses a specialized polymer that fixes tiny bubbles and surface scratches on its own after 24 hours.
* Use a hairdryer on the lowest cool setting for a few seconds to help the edges "shrink" onto the curves. It's honestly not as scary as it looks, but I'm still a bit worried I'll mess up the fingerprint sensor if I don't get the alignment perfect. Does anyone know if the liquid solution in those wet kits can like, seep into the speaker grill or anything? I'm still kinda new to this tbh.

Quick question—which case are you actually using? I've been thinking about your setup and since those curved edges are *so* tricky, some rugged cases literally push against any protector you try. I'm honestly not 100% sure if a thick tempered glass will fit with a bulky case, but I've heard the hybrid PET/TPU ones are usually safer for the fingerprint sensor. Just wanna make sure whatever you get doesn't peel off immediately!

Honestly, you gotta be careful with those super cheap glass protectors from random sites. Most of 'em use shitty adhesive that ruins the fingerprint sensor sensitivity or just pops off the first time you put a case on.

I'd suggest looking at:
* Matte PET films (great for glare)
* Hybrid glass-plastic blends

They're way more budget-friendly and actually *stay* on those curved edges. Definitely avoid the thick non-UV glass ones tho... they're basically useless for this phone.
