Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, and while I'm absolutely blown away by the performance, I’ve realized I really need a second charger. I usually keep the original 125W brick that came in the box at home, but I travel quite a bit for work and need a reliable backup for my laptop bag that won't take forever to top up the battery.

I’m specifically looking for something that can actually take advantage of the phone's crazy fast charging speeds. I know Motorola uses their TurboPower technology, but I’ve been getting a bit confused looking at third-party options like Anker or UGREEN. I’m really hoping to find a compact GaN charger that supports the right PPS (Programmable Power Supply) protocols so I can still get those super-fast speeds without carrying a massive brick around. It would be a huge plus if it has an extra USB-C port for my earbuds too!

Has anyone found a specific third-party charger that consistently triggers the 'TurboPower' animation on the Edge 60 Pro, or should I just stick to buying another official Motorola power adapter to be safe? I'd love to hear what you guys are using!

Jumping in here! Honestly, finding a third-party brick that hits that crazy 125W mark is basically impossible because Moto uses a proprietary handshake for the top speeds. But if you want a solid backup for your bag that’s budget-friendly and compact, here’s what I recommend: 1. Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W): This thing is tiny! It wont give you the full 125W, but it supports the PPS protocol so you’ll still get really decent speeds. Plus, it has three ports so you can charge your earbuds and laptop at the same time. Super convenient for travel.
2. Ugreen Nexode 100W USB C Wall Charger: This is a beast for the price. It’s a bit bigger than the Anker but way more versatile. In my experience, it charges fast enough that I dont even miss the official brick when I’m on the go. Tbh, if you really NEED that 'TurboPower' animation every single time, you might just have to suck it up and buy another Motorola+TurboPower+125W+Wall+Charger&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola TurboPower 125W Wall Charger. But for a laptop bag? The GaN options are way more practical imo. gl!

Quick question - do you really need the full 125W? Tbh, look for 5A PPS support; otherwise, even the Baseus 100W GaN3 Pro USB C Charging Station will probably stay at 50W.

Did this last week, worked perfectly

In my experience, hitting that full 125W TurboPower speed with third-party GaN chargers is actually pretty tricky because Motorola’s PPS requirements are super specific. I’ve tinkered with a few high-end bricks from brands like Anker and UGREEN, and while they’re amazing for my laptop, they don't always trigger that specific 'TurboPower' animation on the Edge 60 Pro unless the voltage rails align perfectly!! It’s seriously frustrating when a 'fast' charger just charges at standard speeds. Before I give you a solid recommendation tho, I gotta ask: what’s your budget looking like for this backup? And is size the most important thing for your travel bag, or are you prioritizeing that extra port for your earbuds? Honestly, some of the multi-port ones can get a bit bulky even with GaN tech... lmk what you think! Cheers!
