I just upgraded to the new Motorola Razr+ (2025) and I am absolutely loving the massive external display, but I am honestly terrified of dropping this thing. Since it is a foldable, I know the repair costs for that inner screen can be insane, so I really want to find a high-quality protective case as soon as possible.
I have been browsing some of the early listings online, but it is hard to tell which ones are actually worth the money since the phone is so new. I am specifically looking for a case that provides some kind of hinge protection because that seems like the most vulnerable spot during a fall. However, I also do not want something so bulky that it ruins the sleek feel of the phone or makes it difficult to use the outer screen for quick tasks.
Has anyone found a brand that fits perfectly without sliding around or requiring those tiny adhesive strips? I am specifically interested in:
- Cases with a matte or textured grip to prevent the phone from being too slippery
- Options that do not interfere with the outer screen touch sensitivity or gestures
- Lightweight materials like Aramid fiber or reinforced TPU
I am willing to spend around $50 to $70 for something durable if it actually keeps the device safe. Does anyone have specific recommendations for the best protective cases currently available for the 2025 Razr+ model?

Just sharing my experience: I spent weeks stressing over my foldable because I'm basically a klutz lol. I tried a bunch of cheap ones before realizing quality actually matters for that hinge.
- Go with UAG if you want something that feels bulletproof.
- Just get any aramid fiber case if you want it thin. I finally settled on a textured setup and it's been a total lifesaver for my peace of mind!
