I just got the Motorola Razr Plus (2024) and I am terrified of dropping it. Since it is a foldable, I am worried about the hinge and that big external display. I need something slim but durable.

Are there any specific cases that offer:

  • Solid hinge protection
  • Compatibility with wireless charging

What are you guys using to keep your Razr safe?

For your situation, honestly i get the fear... foldables are scary lol. Basically if ur looking for cheap but decent, check out Motorola+Razr+Plus+2024+Case+with+Hinge+Protection&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">GKK Motorola Razr Plus 2024 Case with Hinge Protection. I found mine for like 15 bucks on Amazon. It actually has a hinge cover and still works with my wireless charger. Another lowkey good option is the Motorola+Razr%2B+2024&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Cresee Case for Motorola Razr+ 2024 which is about 12 dollars. Both are super slim tbh.

I have a different take after testing these types of hinges for a while. In my experience, the big mainstream brands are okay for basic drops, but for real hinge integrity on a foldable, you really want something more specialized. Over the years I've found that Poetic usually handles the mechanical aspect way better than most. Their hinge protection feels smoother and doesn't grit up as fast as the cheaper options. Honestly, just go with Poetic for this one. You'll get better protection for that external screen too without losing the wireless charging capability. Just my two cents from a technical standpoint tho.

TL;DR: Just go with Spigen. You really cant go wrong with them for reliability. I was super stressed about the hinge and that screen when I first got my Razr Plus. Ended up just getting a Spigen because I always trust them for protection. Its been working well for me and fits like a glove. Wireless charging still works perfectly too. Honestly, if you want peace of mind, just look at their lineup. I'm super satisfied with mine so far and dont feel like I'm gonna break it every time I open it... definitely worth it for the safety factor.
