I just finally pulled the trigger on the Motorola Razr Plus (2024) in that gorgeous Hot Pink, and I am absolutely loving the huge cover display so far. However, I am also a little terrified of dropping it or scratching that outer screen since it takes up almost the entire top half of the phone. Coming from a standard slab phone, the foldable world feels like a different ballgame when it comes to gear.
I have been looking around at cases, but it is hard to decide between something super slim that keeps the design sleek or a more rugged option that actually covers the hinge. I have also heard mixed things about whether a screen protector is necessary for the outer glass. Since it supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless, I am also on the hunt for a reliable charging brick that actually hits those speeds because my old ones are pretty slow.
I want to make sure I am fully equipped to keep this thing in pristine condition without adding too much bulk. For those of you who have had the Razr Plus for a bit now, what are your absolute essentials?
Specifically:
- Which cases offer the best balance of hinge protection and slimness?
- Is a tempered glass protector worth it for the external screen?
