Where can I find a replacement stylus for Moto G Stylus (2025)?

Hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a predicament and hoping the community can point me in the right direction. I recently picked up the Moto G Stylus (2025) and I’ve been absolutely loving the upgraded display and how smooth the pen input feels for quick notes. Unfortunately, while I was out at a coffee shop yesterday, my stylus must have rolled off the table or slipped out while I was moving seats. By the time I realized it was gone, I went back but couldn't find it anywhere.

I’ve been scouring the web looking for an official replacement, but since the 2025 model is still relatively new, I’m having a hard time finding a listing that explicitly states it's for this specific year. I know Motorola tends to change the dimensions or the click-mechanism slightly between generations, so I’m really hesitant to just buy a 2023 or 2024 version and hope it fits the internal silo. I definitely don't want to risk jamming a stylus that’s a fraction of a millimeter too thick into my new phone!

I’ve checked the official Motorola website under the accessories tab, but it currently shows as out of stock or 'coming soon' in my region. I also took a look at Amazon and eBay, but most of what I see are third-party generic pens that don't have that satisfying 'click' to lock into the bottom of the device. I’m really looking for the OEM replacement because I use it daily for digital signatures and photo editing, and I miss that precision.

Does anyone know if there’s a reliable vendor currently stocking the genuine Moto G Stylus (2025) replacement pens? Also, for those who might have tried, do you know if the 2024 stylus is actually cross-compatible, or did they change the length again this year?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option rather than just waiting for the main store to restock. I've been looking at the internal specs, and the Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+5G+2025+Replacement+Pen&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 Replacement Pen has its own specific part number in the Lenovo Encompass Parts Inventory that's usually separate from the retail accessory listings. Basically, these distributors get the bulk OEM stock for repair shops way before the shiny retail boxes are ready.

I mean, it's kinda a hassle to navigate, but that's your best bet for a *genuine* fit without the risk. Honestly, if you need that precision right now for work, maybe check out the Adonit Log Capacitive Stylus as a high-quality external backup? It's a bit of an investment, but it's way safer than jamming a 2024 pen into a 2025 silo and potentially breaking the charging coil. gl!

oh man, I feel u. I literally just went through this cuz I lost mine too and it's sooo frustrating. Basically, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) Replacement Stylus is slightly different than the older ones. I tried jamming a Moto G Stylus (2024) Replacement Pen in there and it actually stuck a bit, so definitely dont do that!!

I ended up grabbing a cheap Generic Replacement Stylus for Moto G Stylus 2025 from Amazon but honestly it was not as good as expected. It doesnt have that nice click-to-lock feel. If you can wait, Motorola's official site is the only way to get the real OEM precision for your signatures, but it's like $30 compared to $10 for the generic ones. Id wait for the official one tho! gl!

Been thinking about your predicament and honestly, having owned every version of this phone, the silo dimensions are always a nightmare to match up, you know? Quick question tho—are you using the unlocked version or a carrier-specific model like Metro or Verizon? Sometimes the Motorola+XT2515-1+Stylus+Insert&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola XT2515-1 Stylus Insert SKU varies slightly depending on the network build, especially with the 5G variants. If you're looking for a long-term fix that won't wreck the internal sensor, here’s my take from a veteran owner: * **Carrier Store Inventory:** Check physical Metro or T-Mobile stores for the Motorola+2025+Mobile+Accessories+Kit&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola 2025 Mobile Accessories Kit. They often have "floor stock" for repairs that isn't listed on the main consumer website yet.
* **Precision Alternative:** Since you do photo editing, grab a Mixoo Precision Disc Stylus as a temporary desk pen. It's way more accurate than a finger and saves your screen from oils while you wait for the official silo pen to restock.
* **Search by Part Number:** Instead of searching the phone name, try looking for the Motorola+XT2515-3+Stylus+Unit&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola XT2515-3 Stylus Unit on wholesale sites. Searching the assembly code usually gets you around the "out of stock" retail listings. Dont settle for a 2024 pen just because it looks close, it'll definitely mess with the retention clip long-term tho.

Unfortunately, I've had a really bad time trying to find a legit 2025 replacement and it's honestly ridiculous how fast they go out of stock. I've been checking every day and Moto just hasn't updated their inventory for weeks. ^ This. Also, I'd politely disagree with just waiting for the official site to restock. By the time they actually get them in, you'll have scratches on your screen from trying to use your fingernail for notes. The 2025 model has a very specific tip texture that's different from the older ones, so the 2024 version feels like writing with a rock.

  • Don't buy anything that says it fits 2023-2025 because it wont. The 2025 silo is narrower and you'll end up needing pliers to get a 2023 pen out.
  • Check <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Fixez+ Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+5G+2025+XT2515+Parts&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Fixez Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 XT2515 Parts for the actual OEM SKU instead of the generic stuff.
  • If you really need to sign stuff now for work, maybe grab a Friendly Swede Disc Stylus 3-Pack to hold you over until the silo pens are back. Basically, the 2025 version uses a different magnetic sensor to detect when the pen is removed, and the cheap knockoffs don't always trigger it right, which kills your battery life cuz the screen stays active. Kinda sucks that we have to hunt this hard for a piece of plastic...

Can confirm

Not to disagree, but I'd actually suggest a different approach before you go hunting for a 2024 model or a generic knock-off. I've been using these phones for years, and honestly, the internal silo dimensions for the Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+5G+2025&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 are just different enough that forced fits will eventually ruin the charging coil or the retention clip.

Instead of hunting on eBay, here's what I'd recommend:

- Wait for the Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+2025+Replacement+Stylus+MD100&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Moto G Stylus 2025 Replacement Stylus MD100 to hit the official Moto site. It's usually around $30, and the OEM precision is worth it for editing.
- If you're in a rush, check for Lenovo USI 2.0 Stylus Pen compatibility. Sometimes the protocol works for screen input even if it won't fit in the hole.
- Seriously, don't use the Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+2024+Replacement+Pen&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Moto G Stylus 2024 Replacement Pen... I've seen way too many people get them stuck cuz the head is a tiny bit wider this year.

I mean, it's annoying to wait, but jamming the wrong one is a recipe for a repair bill. gl!

Honestly, after years of tinkering with these phones, I HIGHLY recommend sticking with the genuine Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+5G+2025+Original+Replacement+Stylus&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 Original Replacement Stylus once it's back in stock or through an authorized parts dealer like Motorola+OEM+Parts+by+Encompass&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola OEM Parts by Encompass.

OEM vs. Generic vs. 2024 model:
1. **Official 2025 OEM:** Perfect fit, active "click" lock, and zero risk to the internal digitizer. It's the safest bet for your screen's health!
2. **Generic Pens:** Usually too thick or lack the spring tension, which can LITERALLY break the internal silo sensor.
3. **2024 Stylus:** They changed the length slightly this year, so it might get stuck.

Seriously, dont risk your $500 phone with a $10 knock-off!! gl!
