Which fast chargers work best with the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra?

Hey everyone! I just finally upgraded to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra after using my old Moto G for years. The phone is absolutely incredible, especially that wooden back finish, but I am a bit stuck on the charging situation. I know this device is supposed to support 125W wired TurboPower charging, which is insane, but my unit didn't come with the wall brick in the box.

Right now, I am using an older 61W MacBook charger and a standard 30W Anker block I had lying around. While they work, they are nowhere near as fast as what this phone can actually handle. I really want to take advantage of those top speeds without accidentally damaging the battery or buying something that only charges at 15W because of compatibility issues. I have heard that Motorola uses a specific version of PD or PPS, but I am not sure which third-party brands actually talk to the Edge 50 Ultra correctly to trigger the ultra-fast charging mode.

I am looking for a charger that meets these criteria:

  • Supports the full 125W TurboPower speed
  • Has extra ports for my earbuds or tablet if possible
  • Is reliable enough for daily use and travel

Does anyone here have a specific recommendation for a brick that works perfectly with this model?

Saw this a bit late but I spent all night looking at the PPS (Programmable Power Supply) profiles for the Edge 50 Ultra. Basically, to hit those insane speeds safely, you need a charger that supports the PD 3.1 standard and has high amperage overhead. Most third-party blocks will actually cap at 100W because of the 5A limit on standard cables, so definitely grab a Baseus 240W USB-C to USB-C Cable to ensure you arent the bottleneck. I highly recommend the Anker 747 Charger GaNPrime 150W if you want reliability. It has great thermal management so it wont cook your battery. If you need even more ports for travel, the Satechi 165W USB-C 4-Port GaN Charger is a beast. Honestly, check out the technical teardowns on the ChargerLAB website if you want to see how these things handle ripple voltage. Its super helpful for making sure you dont fry your new phone.

Agreed. Quick tip: the Motorola+TurboPower+125W+Wall+Charger&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola TurboPower 125W Wall Charger is actually cheaper than most high-wattage PPS blocks. Only get the UGREEN Nexode 160W GaN if you really need those extra ports.
