Best screen protectors for the OnePlus Open's folding display?

I'm starting to see some slight lifting at the crease of my OnePlus Open’s factory film and I’m nervous about replacing it. Has anyone found a high-quality TPU protector that actually stays put after repeated folding? I'm looking for something that maintains clarity without feeling rubbery. Any specific brands you’d recommend for a perfect fit?

Seconding the recommendation above, those kits are highkey the best starting point! But honestly, as someone who’s handled dozens of foldables over the years, you gotta be reallyyy cautious with the inner display. I once saw a DIY job go south because the adhesive was way too aggressive for the screen's coating... scary stuff lol.

If you're looking for a balance between price and protection, I've narrowed it down to these two:
- OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Whitestone Dome Premium Folding Film for OnePlus Open: This is the high-end choice. It feels way less rubbery than the factory film, almost like glass, and handles the crease stress really well.
- OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Dual Easy Film for OnePlus Open: My favorite budget pick. It’s affordable and the alignment tool makes it hard to mess up.

Basically, my lesson learned is that cheaping out on the inner screen isn't worth it if the protector starts peeling after two days. dont rush the install! gl!

Just catching up on this thread and oh man, I went through this last year! My crease started lifting and I was lowkey panicking about the panel. I'm a total tech nerd but I also hate overpaying, so I tried the OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ibywind TPU Screen Protector for OnePlus Open kit. It's only like $13 for a two-pack, which is a massive win compared to the 'premium' stuff.

Technically, the material is a high-tension thermoplastic polyurethane that handles the mechanical stress of folding way better than the stock film. Tbh, I was worried it’d feel rubbery, but it’s actually reallyyy smooth. The lesson I learned is that curing time is literally everything. I left mine open for about 8 hours before folding it. If you rush it, even the best protector is gonna lift. So yeah, save your money and just be patient! gl!

In my experience, you gotta be SUPER careful with that lifting cuz it can actually damage the panel if dust gets under there.

* I'd suggest the OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Orzero TPU Screen Protector for OnePlus Open—it's highkey clearer than the factory film.
* Just make sure to let the adhesive cure for a few hours before folding it!

Honestly, dont wait too long or it gets risky... it's way smoother than stock anyway. gl!
