I’m absolutely loving my new OnePlus Open, especially that massive inner display for multitasking. It’s a beast, but I feel like I’m not fully utilizing its productivity potential yet. I really want to turn this into my main mobile workstation for emails and light doc editing while traveling. I’m specifically curious about stylus options—does anyone know if the Oppo Pen is worth the import, or is there a better third-party alternative for quick notes? Also, I’m looking for a solid kickstand case or a slim Bluetooth keyboard that fits easily in a bag. What are the must-have accessories you use to stay productive on the go with this foldable?

I actually just went through the same process trying to turn my Open into a mini office for a trip last month. honestly, it works pretty well if u have the right kit. Here is what I found comparing a few options: 1. Oppo+Pen+for+Find+N3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo Pen for Find N3: Basically, its the only option with real pressure sensitivity. I imported mine and ngl, the palm rejection is highkey better than any cheap alternative. It is expensive though!!
2. Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Keyboard: This one is incredibly thin and light, but it lacks a trackpad which makes navigating sheets kinda annoying.
3. iClever BK08 Folding Bluetooth Keyboard with Touchpad: its actually better for productivity because having the mouse built-in makes doc editing way faster on that big screen. Lesson learned? if your doing heavy emails and docs, a keyboard with a trackpad is a bigger productivity boost than the pen. But yeah, the Oppo Pen is still dope for quick notes... gl!

Jumping in here cuz I've been down this rabbit hole with my last three foldables! Honestly, safety is the number one thing you gotta keep in mind. I've seen people literally brick their inner screens by using a generic stylus that was "supposed" to be safe. Trust me, it's NOT worth the risk. For the stylus, you highkey need the OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OPPO Pen for Find N3 and OnePlus Open. Don't even look at third-party ones. If you're looking for where to find it since it's hard to get in some regions, I've had great luck using resources like GizTop or TradingShenzhen. They're basically the go-to sites for importing official gear safely without getting scammed. About the case, I've tried many and the OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Nillkin CamShield Pro Case for OnePlus Open is a beast. It’s got that sliding camera cover and a solid kickstand that doesnt feel like it’s gonna snap off after two weeks. Plus, it actually adds some grip cuz the phone is kinda slippery naked. Since others mentioned those folding keyboards, I’m gonna suggest a different route. I use the NuPhy Air60 V2 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. It's seriously thin but feels like a real desktop experience. It fits right in my bag alongside the Open. Pro tip: pair it with the Lululook Foldable Magnetic Tablet Stand if you want to keep the phone at eye level while typing. It makes a huge difference for your neck during long sessions!! Just be careful with that inner display, it's basically the soul of the phone. gl with the setup! 👍

Before I give advice, what apps ur using? Digitizers are kinda picky and I've unfortunately had issues with generic pens. Repairs are pricey so honestly just get Oppo+gear+to+be+safe&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo gear to be safe.

To add to the point above: it seems like everyone is pretty much in agreement that sticking to the official stylus is the only way to go if you dont want to wreck that inner glass. Better safe than sorry, honestly. This whole conversation actually reminds me of my cousin back when the first foldables started hitting the market. He was so determined to save fifty bucks that he spent an entire weekend in his garage trying to DIY a pressure-sensitive tip using some conductive foam and an old mechanical pencil. He was so satisfied with how it turned out and kept bragging about his budget hack. Then he let his kid use it to draw a cat, and well, let's just say it turned into a massive months-long ordeal with his insurance company because they wouldnt cover the screen repair. Total nightmare.

Huh interesting. I had no idea. The more you know I guess 🤷

Seconding that! In my experience, I've scratched screens with cheap pens so i think sticking to official gear is safer. Repairs cost way more... definitely worth it tho!!
