Hey everyone! I’ve been a loyal OnePlus user for years, currently rocking a OnePlus 11, but I’ve run into a bit of a wall when it comes to portable power. I’m planning a long trip next month and I’m desperate to find a power bank that actually supports the proprietary SuperVOOC or Warp Charge speeds.
I currently have a standard 20,000mAh PD power bank, but it charges my phone at a snail's pace—it feels like it takes hours just to get a 30% boost. It’s honestly frustrating because I’ve grown so used to the incredible 80W wall charger speeds at home. I’ve been scouring Amazon, but most "fast charging" banks only support Power Delivery or Quick Charge, which OnePlus devices usually cap at much lower wattages.
I’m specifically looking for something relatively portable (ideally 10,000mAh or 20,000mAh) that can deliver at least 30W to 65W specifically for OnePlus. I’m okay with it being a bit pricey as long as it’s reliable. Does anyone have a specific model they use that actually triggers the "Ultra Fast Charging" animation on their screen? Any recommendations for third-party brands that play nice with OnePlus protocols would be a total lifesaver!
Same boat, watching this
sooo i totally get the struggle... standard power banks are honestly a joke when youre used to that crazy OnePlus+speed&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus speed. since youre looking for something budget-friendly but reliable, i would suggest looking into the Baseus Adaman 22.5W 20000mAh Power Bank or even better, the Baseus Blade 100W Laptop Power Bank 20000mAh.
heres why i think these are the move:
- basically, OnePlus+uses+a+proprietary+p&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus uses a proprietary protocol, so standard PD (Power Delivery) usually caps at 18W or less on our phones.
- BUT, some high-wattage banks like the Baseus Blade 100W actually support PPS (Programmable Power Supply), which can trick the phone into charging at around 27W-30W. it wont be the full 80W, but its WAY better than the 10W snail pace!!
- be careful though, make sure to use a high-quality C-to-C cable cuz that matters too. gl with the trip!!
oh man, I totally feel u on this!! I'm honestly a bit of a beginner with all this high-tech power stuff, but I've been super cautious cuz I really don't wanna fry my battery. For your situation, I've seen two options that basically everyone swears by.
First, there's the official OPPO+SUPERVOOC+80W+Power+Bank+12000mAh&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OPPO SUPERVOOC 80W Power Bank 12000mAh—since Oppo+and+OnePlus+share+th&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo and OnePlus share the same tech, this is like the gold standard for getting that amazing Ultra Fast Charging animation! It's super sleek but maybe a bit pricey?
Another one I've been looking at is the Shargeek Sharge Flow 10000mAh Portable Charger. It's sooo cool looking with the transparent case! I think it supports PPS which might help, but honestly, the Oppo+one+is+way+safer+for&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo one is way safer for proprietary speeds. I guess you just gotta be careful with third-party cables too? Anyway, hope this helps u find something fantastic for your trip!! gl!
Honestly, the whole proprietary charging situation is such a scam at this point. Ive been with OnePlus since the OP3 days and it drives me crazy how they lock everything down. It feels like every time I upgrade my phone, my old accessories basically become e-waste because the protocols changed or the wattage got bumped just enough to make them useless.
Ok so, I feel u... I've literally been through three different power banks trying to find one that actually triggers that SuperVOOC animation on my OnePlus 11. It's sooo frustrating when you're stuck at 10W speeds!!
In my experience, you highkey gotta look for specific stuff:
* **Go with Oppo or Realme brands:** Honestly, since they're basically under the same umbrella, their proprietary tech usually plays nice with OnePlus.
* **Search for "SuperVOOC Licensed" tags:** Be careful tho, some claim they work but they're just basic PD. I'd suggest sticking to the official brand stores if you can.
* **Check the cable too:** Make sure to use your original red cable or it won't hit those 65W+ speeds anyway!!
I eventually just grabbed a generic Oppo branded brick and it works like a charm. GL! 👍
tbh I've been down this rabbit hole for like three years now across multiple phones. I started with those cheap generic blocks thinking "power is power" but ur basically just killing ur battery health if it takes 3 hours to charge every time. My OP11 deserves better than that lol. In my experience, you've gotta look at:
* Brands in the BBK family (like Realme or Oppo)
* Anything that explicitly mentions VOOC licensing on the box
* High-amperage cables that actually match the port I found that going with anything from the Realme ecosystem usually works perfectly without the crazy "boutique" price tag. Well actually... it’s mostly about the protocol handshake. If the box doesn't specifically say VOOC or SuperVOOC, it's probably gonna be a snail. Honestly, just get any high-wattage brick from those sibling brands and you'll be fine. It saved me so much headache on my last road trip.
Works great for me
tbh i always worry about the thermal side of things when pushing 65W+ into a phone... i had a close call with a generic bank that started smelling like burnt plastic once so now i play it safe. if you want that performance, i lowkey think you gotta stick with the official stuff or at least something from the BBK family like the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= Oppo+80W+SuperVOOC+Power+Bank+12000mAh&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo 80W SuperVOOC Power Bank 12000mAh just to be sure the voltage regulation is actually STABLE. quick tip: even if the bank is good, just make sure you use the red cable that came with your phone. most others wont trigger the ultra fast speeds because they lack the extra pin... better safe than sorry.
