So I finally pulled the trigger on the OnePlus 12 because my old Pixel 7 was literally dying by 2pm every single day and it was driving me insane tbh... plus I really needed a better camera and a bigger screen for once since the Pixel felt so tiny. But now that I have it im like super stressed about this curved display because ive never really had one this pronounced and I know they are a nightmare for protectors. I looked up the Whitestone Dome glass thing since everyone says its the best but it looks so complicated to install with the UV light and im 100% gonna mess it up or get glue in the speakers or something, actually I think I saw a video where it leaked into the buttons too. Then I saw some random TPU films on Amazon but half the comments say they just peel off at the edges after a week because of the curves. I really dont want to waste money on something that wont stick or ruins the fingerprint sensor.
Here is what I am looking for:
Does anyone actually have a glass one that works or should I just stick with the factory film even though it feels kinda cheap?
Skip the UV glass kits. They are overpriced and messy. I have tested several films on the OnePlus 12 and the Ibywind Screen Protector for OnePlus 12 is the most reliable budget option. It usually costs $10-15 for a 2-pack.
