What are the best protective cases for the new OnePlus 14?

I'm honestly just fed up with these supposedly 'rugged' cases that do absolutely nothing when you actually drop the phone. I'm upgrading from a OnePlus 10 Pro—which, by the way, has a completely shattered back glass right now despite being in a 'tough' case—and I'm determined not to let that happen with the new 14. My current phone’s battery is also dying and the size makes it impossible to grip, so I'm really prioritizing something that doesn't add 5 pounds of plastic. I've looked at the Spigen Tough Armor and some Poetic cases, but the reviews are all over the place; some say the Spigen doesn't even lip over the screen properly anymore. I need something that protects that massive camera array without being a literal brick in my pocket.

Real-world drop protection (not just marketing talk)

Textured sides for grip (I drop things constantly)

Budget is around $40-50 max

Won't interfere with the wireless charging

I’ve heard Dbrand is good but is it actually worth the price tag or am I just paying for the branding? I really don't want to break another $900 phone just because the case was 'sleek' but useless... oh and it needs to play nice with screen protectors without peeling the edges up.

Re: "Rarely post but saw this and had to..." - honestly i was JUST looking into this last week because i didnt wanna shatter my screen again lol. im no expert but i spent hours scrolling and tbh the struggle is real. i lowkey feel like dbrand is mostly hype if you just want pure grip... you pay way too much for a sticker basically. i found that the Caseology Athlex for OnePlus 14 is probably the sweet spot for you. its got this integrated grip that feels like actual sandpaper on the sides so its super hard to drop... and it definitely wont break the bank at like $25. i also saw the UAG Plasma Series for OnePlus 14 which is way more rugged if you want that TANK feel but it might be slightly bulkier and its right at the top of your budget. TL;DR: Caseology Athlex has the best grip/price ratio i found during my research.
