Upgrading from an S21—the battery was toast—and I'm so hyped for this S26 Plus camera! I'm torn between the Whitestone Dome and the Spigen EZ Fit. I read that UV glass is better for the sensor, but the Spigen install looks way easier. I need it by Friday for my trip. Which one is actually better for fingerprint speed?

regarding what #1 said... ive been through three of these and UV is a MESS. amFilm OneTouch S26 Plus is easier and just as fast as Whitestone Dome Glass S26 Plus ngl.

ngl this comes up a lot but search the forum... theres a thread about this but the short answer is UV glass wins for the sensor every time. spigen is easier but you dont want that thick adhesive messing with the ultrasonic reader tbh.

- Spigen EZ Fit Tempered Glass S26 Plus if you cant handle the UV install UV is just BETTER for the tech...

Everyone recommends those UV kits but honestly it's mostly marketing. You don't need liquid adhesive for the sensor to work properly. I've had better results with standard glass. Just get any tempered glass from dbrand. The fingerprint scanner speed is identical and you won't risk getting glue in the ear speaker.
