Which screen protector offers the best clarity for the Galaxy S26 Ultra?

Ive been a Samsung guy since the S8 days and I've installed probably fifty screen protectors in my life so I'm usually pretty good at this. Just got my S26 Ultra yesterday and man the screen looks incredible out of the box but I'm terrified of getting those tiny micro-scratches especially since I take it out for landscape shots in the Peak District all the time. The issue is that the anti-reflective properties on this new panel seem even more sensitive than the last few generations and every tempered glass I look at seems to turn the screen into a mirror. I tried a cheap TPU film I had lying around but it made the display look grainy like it had a layer of oil on it which totally kills the 1440p crispness. I'm looking to spend maybe £35 tops but I need something that actually preserves that deep black look without the weird rainbow effect or losing the fingerprint sensor speed. Has anyone found a glass or hybrid that doesn't ruin the Gorilla Armors low reflectivity? Or am I stuck choosing between scratches and a glare-fest...

tbh I feel your pain with the S26 Ultra because that Gorilla Armor is a blessing and a curse. You want the protection but man, as soon as you slap a standard tempered glass on there, it basically turns into a vanity mirror and kills that deep black look you paid for. I've been through a dozen of these on different Ultras and if you're trying to stay under £35, the official Samsung Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector for S26 Ultra 2-Pack is usually the way to go. It is a film, not glass, but it's the only thing I've found that doesn't make the screen look like a greasy mess while keeping the reflections down. It's usually like £15-£20 so you'll have money left over for a pint. If you absolutely need the impact protection of glass for those hiking trips, maybe look at ESR Tempered-Glass Screen Protector for S26 Ultra 3-Pack. It's super budget friendly and the fingerprint sensor actually works pretty well with it if you re-register your prints after putting it on. Just be warned that any glass is gonna reflect more than the bare screen... it's just physics at that point. I usually just buy the multipacks because I tend to mess up the first install anyway. For the Peak District, maybe a rugged case with a lip is better than thick glass if you want to keep that clarity perfect.

Grab the Spigen NeoFlex Flexible Film! It’s a wet-install hybrid that keeps clarity amazing without the oiliness. Way better for the sensor! Check XDA forums for side-by-side shots!
