Which screen protectors work best with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Ditching my scratched-up S21 Ultra—the glare is just awful now. I’m torn between the official Samsung Anti-Reflecting film and the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for the S24 Ultra. Research says the Samsung film keeps the anti-glare (the best part!) but is a nightmare to align, while Spigen is easy but might be too reflective. I also looked at Whitestone Dome but the UV glue process seems way too extra.

  • Needs to work with a slim case
  • Must not mess with S-Pen sensitivity

Does the Spigen glass kill the anti-reflective benefits, or should I just risk the film? Oh, also wondering if these affect the fingerprint sensor much...

This comes up a lot — honestly, just grab Samsung Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector when it's on sale. TL;DR: Glass is cheaper, but it ruins the anti-glare — wait, it's just a waste.

Rarely post but saw this—to add to the point above: I agree film is better, specifically Ringke Dual Easy Film S24 Ultra because it’s easier—wait, I mean way faster—to install without ruining the sensor.

So funny you ask this—last summer I was out at the park trying to show off some photos on my new S24 Ultra and I realized halfway through that I couldn't see a single thing on my screen because of the midday sun. I'd slapped on a standard tempered glass—I think it was the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit S24 Ultra—and while the installation was literally foolproof (which I need, honestly, I'm a total klutz with these things), it totally killed that magic anti-reflective coating Samsung bragged about. It felt like I was back on my old S21! I ended up ripping it off right there—wait, no, I actually waited until I got home so I didn't get dust everywhere—and I decided to try a different route. I looked at the Whitestone Dome Glass Shield—the non-liquid one, since the UV glue process honestly terrifies me too—and it was decent, but if you're worried about the S-Pen, any glass is going to feel a bit 'slicker' than the bare screen. I eventually tried the amFilm OneTouch Glass S24 Ultra because the alignment tool is just as good as Spigen's but it felt a tiny bit thinner? Maybe it was just in my head. The fingerprint sensor works fine though—you just have to re-register your thumbs after you put it on and maybe toggle that 'touch sensitivity' setting in the display menu. If you really hate the glare though, any glass is always going to be a mirror compared to the bare screen—it’s just the price we pay for not cracking the thing!

Re: "So funny you ask this—last summer I was..." - tbh I'm no expert but I just looked into this last week and found a better path. I lowkey think the amFilm Elastic Skin S24 Ultra is the move. Its way easier to install than the Samsung film and doesnt mess with the fingerprint sensor or S-Pen. Ngl it keeps the glare way lower than Spigen glass too...
