I just picked up the OnePlus Open and I'm obsessed, but I'm nervous about protecting this massive screen. I'm looking for a slim case that actually stays on and a reliable screen protector. Also, any recommendations for a car mount that handles the weight? What accessories have been absolute game-changers for your foldable experience?

+1 to what was said earlier! aramid is king but expensive. i've found these are better for the budget: • OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Poetic Spartan Case for OnePlus Open: way cheaper and has a kickstand, but it's kinda bulky.
• OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">dbrand Grip Case for OnePlus Open: reallyyy grippy and middle-ground price. also, the OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Aisasee Screen Protector for OnePlus Open is a solid value choice that actually sticks. gl!

This^ OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Latercase Cyber Edition for OnePlus Open beats OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Tough Armor Pro for OnePlus Open cuz aramid fiber's tensile strength is superior to TPU. Also, Joyroom MagSafe Car Mount handles the weight perfectly. 👍

^ This. Also, honestly its just ridiculous how much we have to spend on extra stuff after dropping nearly two grand on the phone itself. In my experience, the accessory market for foldables has become a total cash grab. I've tried many cases over the years, and it drives me crazy how companies charge sixty bucks for a tiny piece of plastic that barely fits because the hinge design is so complex. Ngl, it feels like a scam that we even need to debate aramid versus TPU when the manufacturer should be providing something substantial in the box. Instead we get that flimsy piece of junk they call a stock case. Its such a joke. Compared to what you get from some of the other brands, OnePlus really dropped the ball here. You spend all this time looking at specs and tolerances, but then you realize the quality of third-party stuff is going downhill while the prices just keep climbing. It's like they know we're desperate to protect our investment so they just gouge us. Drives me nuts that we have to do all this legwork just so the screen doesnt shatter... it's exhausting tbh.

Tbh the stock case was disappointing, so I'm using OnePlus+Open&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Nillkin Frosted Shield Case for OnePlus Open and the LISEN MagSafe Car Mount for Foldable Phones... handles the weight way better, iirc.
