I just got this new OnePlus 12 and honestly im kinda overwhelmed because its so much different than my old phone. I was using an old iphone for like five years so this is a huge jump for me. I keep hearing about how this phone has crazy fast charging speeds but then someone told me that wireless charging is different and you have to get a specific one?
Im so confused by all the numbers like 15w and 50w and what not. I dont want to buy something cheap off amazon that's gonna fry my battery or make the phone super hot while I sleep. I live in Seattle and it's getting dark and rainy so I just want a cozy setup on my nightstand where I can just drop it down and not worry. My budget is like 60 bucks maybe? Or 70 if its really good. Is there a specific one that belongs to the brand or can I just use any round pad thing? I saw some that stand up too which looks cool but I have no idea where to start or if they even work with a case on.
Sorry if this is a really dumb question but which wireless charger is actually the most reliable for the OnePlus 12? I really dont want to waste money on something that takes ten hours to charge it...
I've tested a ton of gear over the years and honestly, OnePlus uses a proprietary protocol for their 50W speeds. For your budget, the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+AIRVOOC+50W+Wireless+Charger&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Wireless Charger is the only choice that actually delivers. Generic Qi pads usually cap at 15W or even 5W on this phone, which is painfully slow. This one has a built-in fan to keep temps down while you sleep too.
Can confirm this works. Did the same thing on mine and its been solid ever since.
