I'm looking for recommendations on the best headphones to pair with my new Samsung S25 Plus. I want something that offers great sound quality and comfort, preferably with noise cancellation features. I've heard good things about the Galaxy Buds 3, but I'm open to other options as well. What do you all suggest? Any personal experiences would be appreciated!
Re: "just saw this and figured id drop some..."
Yeah, honestly if you want the best experience with the S25 Plus, you basically have to stay in the ecosystem. Samsung uses their own Seamless Codec which is technically way better for high-bitrate audio than standard SBC or AAC, but its locked to there devices. Honestly, just get any of the Samsung buds and youll be happy with the integration. If your looking for the absolute best noise cancellation tho, go with Bose. Like, literally any of their recent wireless models are gonna beat the smaller buds for pure quiet. I dont remember the exact technical specs for the S25's bluetooth chip, but I think it supports some newer LC3 or LE audio stuff? Not totally sure about that tho. Just make sure whatever you get has good app support on Android, but sticking with the same brand is usually the way to go tho.
Facts.
just saw this and figured id drop some data. while the ecosystem integration is nice, you might want to consider that the s25 plus supports ldac too. if you check out the technical reviews on rtings or soundguys, you'll see that ldac at 990kbps basically matches what samsungs codec is doing. you arent actually losing much by stepping away from their specific buds. i would suggest being careful with those high launch prices tho. honestly, you can get way better value if you look at the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones. the noise cancellation still holds up against almost anything new and they're way cheaper now. if you're looking for earbuds on a budget, the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Noise Cancelling Earbuds is a solid pick. just make sure to use their app to pull back the low-end a bit... the default frequency response is a bit aggressive. you can find some good auto-eq presets on the squig.link databases if you want to get the tuning perfect without spending a fortune.
