I'm looking for recommendations on quality options that provide a good balance between style and protection. I've seen some mixed reviews about the official Samsung leather back cover, particularly regarding its protection level. Has anyone had experience with different brands or styles? TIA.

Would love to know this too
^ This. Also, ngl it drives me crazy how much the quality of leather cases has fallen off lately. I remember my old Galaxy cases lasting years, but now? It is such a scam. I bought a high-end leather cover last year and the premium finish literally started flaking off into my palm while I was just sitting on the couch. Spent like 60 bucks for it to look like trash in ten days.
ngl uoevrtxhse is totally right about the quality drop. I've been looking at the actual material specs for these and it's pathetic. Most premium brands are using heavily corrected grain leather that's so thin it can't even develop a proper patina. I had a nightmare experience with a high-end brand last year where the edge paint cracked after two weeks of normal use... it just felt cheap and definitely didn't justify the price tag. Instead of getting scammed by the 60 dollar options, I've been using the Lonli Classic Nappa Leather Case. Its way cheaper and actually uses genuine cowhide that doesn't feel like plastic. For a budget pick, the X-Level Vintage Series is okay for the look, tho it's synthetic. I just hate how the big names are cutting corners while raising prices. If you want real leather without the markup, the Shieldon Genuine Leather Case is also solid. Save your money honestly, the official stuff is just a disappointment these days.
