I just picked up the new Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and want to keep the display pristine. I am specifically looking for tempered glass that won't mess with the fingerprint sensor or lift at the edges when using a case. Which brands provide the best durability and easiest installation process for this specific model?

sooo jumping in here cuz i have literally been through this every year with my new Samsungs lol. honestly, i used to be that guy who spent 50 bucks on a single piece of glass, but my journey eventually led me to the budget world and i havent looked back. i mean, why pay for one when you can get three for way less? basically, i started testing the cheap multipacks to see if they actually worked with the sensor and here is how it went for me:

  • i found that JETech Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Tempered Glass 3-Pack is usually like 9 dollars and fits perfectly without the edge lifting.
  • i also tried the Mr.Shield for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Tempered Glass Screen Protector 3-Pack which is super cheap and honestly feels just as smooth as the expensive stuff.
  • the trick i learned is just to re-register my fingerprints after the install and its been flawless. it is pretty crazy how much you can save when you stop buying the big names... i guess i just prefer having extras in the drawer for when i inevitably drop my phone again haha. peace

Yo, I totally get the frustration because honestly... I've spent way too much money on trash screen protectors that just peel off or ruin the look of the phone. For your Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, I would suggest going with the amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. Unfortunately, I had issues with some generic brands where the fingerprint sensor literally wouldnt work even after re-scanning my thumbs multiple times. It was super annoying and not as good as expected, especially since they advertised 99% compatibility which was a lie lol. The amFilm kit is basically the sweet spot for value and durability. Here is why:

  • The alignment tray is a lifesaver. You basically just drop it on and it’s perfectly centered so it wont catch on case lips.
  • It’s made of 9H hardness glass which handles scratches way better than those cheap film ones.
  • It actually works with the optical sensor on the FE model without needing that ugly circular cutout in the middle of the screen. If you have more to spend, the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is also solid, but highkey you're just paying for the brand name at that point imo. One quick tip tho... make sure you go into your display settings and toggle on Touch Sensitivity once the glass is on. It helps the sensor through the thicker material. Also, definitely re-register your fingerprints AFTER the install for the best results. I learned that the hard way after almost returning my first kit... basically just user error on my part but yeah. Anyway, good luck with the new phone, it's a great device!! peace.

Quick question - before I give my full advice, what kind of case are you actually using? Some rugged ones have thick lips that literally push against the glass, making them lift at the edges. Anyway, I've spent a lot of time testing these and here are the ones that actually work with the fingerprint sensor without a hitch:

Background: cracked screens are pricey, so a sacrificial glass layer is vital for safety. i love the LK 3 Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE because its a fantastic value at under 15 bucks and super durable!! TL;DR: get the LK 3 Pack Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 FE for max protection and safety.
