Hey everyone! I just finally bit the bullet and picked up the new Galaxy S24 FE in that gorgeous blue color. I am super excited to start using it, especially for the upgraded display and the new processor, but as many of you probably know, the box is pretty slim these days and doesn't actually include a charging brick. I am coming from a much older device that used a standard slow charger, so I really want to make sure I am getting the best possible speeds for this new phone.
I have been doing a bit of reading online and I am getting a little confused by the technical specs. From what I understand, the S24 FE supports up to 25W wired charging, which is different from the 45W support on the Ultra models. I really want to find a wall plug that is compact but reliable. I have seen people mentioning that I need a charger with PPS (Programmable Power Supply) support to actually trigger Samsung's Super Fast Charging notification. If I just buy a generic high-wattage brick, will it still charge at the maximum speed, or does it specifically have to be a Samsung-compatible one?
In addition to the wall charger, I am looking for a solid power bank. Since the S24 FE has a 4,500mAh battery, I am hoping to find something portable that can give me at least two full charges while I am out and about. I travel quite a bit for work, so having something that supports fast charging on the go is a huge priority for me. I would hate to be stuck at an airport terminal tethered to a battery pack for three hours just to get a 50 percent charge.
I have looked at some options from brands like Anker and Ugreen, but there are so many different series and models that it is a bit overwhelming. Do you guys have any specific recommendations for a setup that works perfectly with the S24 FE? Are there any particular power banks that are slim enough for a pocket but still support the 25W PPS standard?

I've been using Samsung gear for a long time now, and honestly, I'm always a little nervous about third-party chargers because I've seen some cheap ones get way too hot. You really gotta be careful with your battery health, especially with a brand new phone, you know? Since you're looking for budget-friendly but safe options that actually hit that 25W Super Fast Charging speed, here is what I would suggest looking at:
- Samsung 25W PD Power Adapter
- Honestly, this is usually the safest bet. It's often on sale for around $15 to $19, and you know it won't mess with your electronics or overheat.
- Anker 312 Charger (Ace, 25W)
- This one is super tiny and great for travel. It usually goes for about $14 and has been really reliable for me.
- Anker 533 Power Bank (PowerCore 30W)
- For a battery pack, this is a solid choice. It's 10,000mAh so it fits in a pocket, and it supports the PPS standard. You can usually find it for under $40. To answer your question about high-wattage bricks: I'm pretty sure if it doesn't have PPS, it will likely default to 15W even if the brick is a 65W one, which is kind of a bummer. Yo! I feel u, the charger struggle is real. In my experience, I've tried many setups over the years. I once bought a huge brick thinking it would be SUPER fast, but without PPS, my phone just sat there slow charging... so annoying. For your situation:
- I just use a compact 30W wall plug now.
- My current power bank is a 10k one that fits in my pocket. It works great and is the one I go with.

Stumbled upon this! Basically, PPS allows your phone to adjust voltage dynamically. Warning: if you buy a brick that lacks PPS support, itll likely default to 15w, which is not as good as expected. High wattage doesnt always mean fast charging. Quick question - do you need a new cable too? I mean, the thin one in the box is fine, but I usually prefer beefier ones from Samsung or Anker to avoid bottlenecking things.

tbh I always get nervous about those off-brand chargers too... you definitely want something that wont fry your new phone. Just to help narrow it down tho, what kind of budget are you working with for the whole setup? Also, are you planning to use these just for the S24 FE, or do you need something more versatile that can handle a laptop or tablet at the same time? I usually lean towards brands that have a solid track record for safety and reliability even if they cost a few extra bucks.
