Looking for a tripod recommendation for my Samsung S25 Ultra. Want to take some car photography and videos. I'm not a pro, just need something stable and portable. Budget is around $100. Any suggestions?

Been using this for years, no complaints

Tbh I totally agree with Audrey. Having that extra stability is huge for performance. I learned the hard way a couple years back when I tried to do some night shots of my car. I was using a really basic, lightweight setup and even a tiny bit of wind ruined every single long exposure I tried to take. It was super frustrating because the shots looked okay on the small screen, but when I got home they were all blurry. Now I always look for something with a bit more weight to it. Since the S25 Ultra is a pretty hefty phone, you definitely want something that wont budge if you're doing video or long shutters. It really changed the game for me once I stopped worrying about the thing tipping over or shaking...

I use Joby GorillaPod. Small, flexible legs, about $50. Works great, but be careful with heavier lenses!

Forget fancy. A $20 phone clamp and any old camera tripod will do the trick just fine.

Forget tripods! For static shots, a magnetic phone mount on the car's roof is surprisingly stable and cheap! Seriously, test one - Amazon has options under $20. Amazing for angles!

Heard mixed things about cheaper tripods. For safety, consider a used Manfrotto on eBay. A dropped phone is worse than spending a bit more upfront, right?

Forget fancy brands. I've tried many. For your S25 Ultra, check out Manfrotto's Element MII. Solid build, compact, and you can often find it around $80. Value champ!

DIY PVC pipe tripod? Super cheap, surprisingly stable for stills. Depends on your build skills, though!
